Despite the stigma, she describes how incredible life becomes on the other side of it - “You get yourself back.” To celebrate the launch of Stripes, the beauty brand she created for people going through menopause, she reflects upon some of the biggest moments of her life and career. From her first lines in a feature film and the moment she was nominated for an Oscar to being pregnant with her first child and learning to embrace menopause, Naomi Watts breaks down how she's earned her stripes.

Yes, as Naomi says, with age you know yourself better, what you need and what you don't. Thank you brave, beautiful and brilliant Naomi. Always my favorite actress.

It’s great to talk about it but frankly it is not that terrible. I don’t like how whenever it’s talked about it is premised by oh this awful blah blah blah. Mine came at 41 without any warning. And here I am. Onward! Anyway thanks for the video.

It is 7:21 AM on 7/24/23 - I have a question I'm a little bit late to the party. I went through perimenopause straight into menopause. I was 48 my hair had already gone almost completely white well not as white as it is now, but big time and I never got hot flashes until after I was 55 and some other symptoms I didn't recognize that I recognize more now at almost 60 than I did I guess in the realm of when I was kind of "going through the change" whatever that means, and now my mother is not here so I can ask her and she wasn't a great arbiter because she was taking estrogen for a long time, so she never really went through the menopausal symptoms. Anyhow, I'm the oldest daughter and I'm surviving but it's yeah it's an incorporated part of my life by the way I'm just gonna say to everyone out there just because you've gone through menopause doesn't mean that your sex drive dies one actually increased thank you for one benefit benefit.❤
