Just watched the film. Robert Pattinson is ABSOLUTELY "The Batman"! Love the entire movie - the dark tone, the villains, the pessimistic depiction of Gotham as a city being a product of corruption and murder, Selina Kyle, Batman being human and vulnerable, the realistic approach rather than a super-hero flick, the VINTAGE-LOOKING Batmobile - What a 2-hour-50-minute treat!
The scene where the villain asks, "What is the price for your blind eye?" was pretty clever. Did anyone else notice how the window and the man's shadow create an eye? That was pretty genius!
Im actually impressed with Reeves and Pattinsons Batman. Year 2 much more grounded and seen as a Vigilante that refuses to die and is always in the shadows. Gives it a greater sense of realism
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how batman keeps getting tagged by goons! Whether it be with punches or bullets. You can tell that the armor is heavy but light enough (if that makes sense) makes it so much more realistic! Makes batman feel like he's actually human. That man Matt Reeves is a genius!
Zack Snyder already did that in BvS in the warehouse fight scene. Batfleck got stabbed and literally shot in the head in that sequence. Let's hold on to see the entire film before calling Reeves a genius. Trailers often flatter to decieve.
I'm looking forward to this as much as anyone, but "realistic"? No armor ever created will prevent a high velocity bullet fired at close range from knocking the person to the ground. That's jus physics. This is pure fantasy, but that's okay, so let's just enjoy it.

I’ll admit when I heard Pats was going to be Batman I scoffed at the idea, didn’t see it. But I’ve no shame in admitting how wrong I was. He is nothing short of superb and I hope we see more of him as Batman
If nothing else this is going to be a visual masterpiece. The cinematic shots in this do not hesitate to blow me away. I can’t fathom how incredible it is but these visuals somehow capture that DC “tone” I freaking love so much >:)

This trailer promised us a dark, mysterious, and gritty Batman. And boy, did it deliver! 3 hours (almost) flew by watching this film. Glorious performance by Rob Pattinson, he nailed it! I had high expectations from his performance having watched “Good Time” and he did not disappoint! Paul Dano was terrifying, such a worthy opponent. Zoë Kravitz was mesmerizing as Selena! I also liked how James Gordon was portrayed in this movie. Gary Oldman is one of my favorite actors, but I loved Jeffrey Wright as Gordon more. The writing and action sequences (esp the car chase scene) were superb. It’s been 2 days since I watched The Batman and I still ponder on it. I would love to watch this film again. ❤️
I'm trying so hard not to get overhyped for this, and with all do respect to past Batman movies this might be the one I've been waiting for. And I think Pattinson has the chops to take it to that darkest of levels. I can't wait for this.
Saw the movie last night. A-MAZING!! It reminded me of older investigative movies like The Bone Collector, Seven, and Zodiac. Rob did an excellent job as Batman. I don’t read the comics but read somewhere that his dark and brooding demeanor is spot on for year 2 Batman. Either way, I loved it. Loved it so much I think we will be going to see it a second time. 10/10
There’s a line in a different trailer: “You’re becoming quite a celebrity” that feels like a bit of foreshadowing, as I think Robert Pattinson better strap in. I don’t think a lot of people are aware of just how many strange and interesting movies he’s been doing over the last several years. This is going to solidify the death of him being seen as “Edward from Twilight”. ‘Devil all the time’ on Netflix and ‘the lighthouse’ on prime would be good to start with until this film comes out for those not familiar.
Nah man the movie they really need to see is Good Times by the safdie brothers starring pattinson in the lead role...i havent a single clue why this movie isnt as known as uncut gems...but to me thats his true first absolutely amazing breakout role....

Wingsuit just makes more sense honestly, like if you really think about its a smarter move then just a cape that lets me glide a bit. With a wing suit he can actually "fly" around. Idk just my thoughts.
This reminds me of when I was a kid and I bought a rerelease of the classic black and white comic. It changed how I viewed Batman and made me love the character even more. I can't wait to go see this today.
This batman is soooo gritty I love it! I also like how he doesn’t just dodge all the bullets, its more realistic that he has this armor that just tanks everything, it really makes him more intimidating and realistic, like the bullets just bounce off, so he feels more like an unstoppable force of nature.

Just saw Batman at the movie theaters! It was a masterpiece! Robert Pattinson Nailed It as Bruce Wayne/Batman and looking forward to the trilogy. After all, Matt Reeves might be right after telling Nolan that his movies will be better than the Dark Knight!!!

Was hesitant about a Rob Patterson Batman, he's an amazing actor, i just was not sure if he was the right fit for Batman. But if the trailer is any indication he's knocked it out of the park.
I knew Pattinson would kill it! He can definitely play deranged, brooding Bruce and the action looks intense. So stoked... apparently the best thing for an actor to nail a role is for everyone to say they're wrong for it ;)

This Batman is based on Batman Arkham Origin's Bruce Wayne who has a lot of anger to pour upon his enemies, he will do a lot of mistakes due to his young age and recklessness.

Watched today! Awesome movie 🍿, best batman suit. Story is good. Bgm is good. Direction is great. I really hoped for post credit scene but there isn't any. Sad.

@@timothyhyena3106 It seems to deflects bullets and create sparks which implies it is some time of metal, the problem is his chin is unprotected and the armour would deflect a lot of the shrapnel directly into his face He would probably look like darkman within a week.

Just saw Batman at the movie theaters! It was a masterpiece! Robert Pattinson Nailed It as Bruce Wayne/Batman and looking forward to the trilogy. After all, Matt Reeves might be right after telling Nolan that his movies will be better than the Dark Knight!!!

Was hesitant about a Rob Patterson Batman, he's an amazing actor, i just was not sure if he was the right fit for Batman. But if the trailer is any indication he's knocked it out of the park.
People said the same about Heath Ledger before seeing his performance as Joker. I believe this movie will be great.

Kevin Conroy is kind of the only one who could deliver that line flawlessly. I don't think you'd appreciate it as much from another actor.

Court of Owls is supposedly teased all throughout this one. Pattinson has said he hopes that, if they make a sequel, they are the main villains.
