I used to long for a love like this. Even believed it existed. Well... at least I did until I finally realized that there's really only one tangible way to find and have a love like this. Unfortunately, you'll need to accept that your life will only be an illusion of happiness. the one thing that bothers me about this relationship is that she's 14 and he's like 20 I'm 14 and if i said I'm getting married to a 20 year old college student. my friends wouldn't accept it whatsoever but this is Japan of course the guys would be Way to old for the girls

He isn't. That is something that the anime did ALONE. ORIGINALLY he was in his 2nd year of high school not college. He is only like 3 to 4 years older than her at the most.
I by no means support relationships with minors, however, in the anime dubbed he is a lot older than her however in the subbed as well as the manga and the latest adaptations, he's actually 17 whereas she is 14. That age gap does matter when he turns 18 and then she will be a minor. That issue can also be debated in Japanese terms only since it would depend on where they live, some places in Japan have the consent age as low as 13 disgustingly enough. I went on a tangent, I just wanted to let you know his age is only like that in the original dub or the original series and isn't supposed to be that big.
