You got me to order a two speed transmission and do this modification. Are you running any wheel weights? Something challenging about trailing a 2wd RC, gotta pick your lines carefully 🤔
Great to hear more people are trying this setup, I don't run any wheel weights. Indeed, the requirement to put thought into your lines makes for such a fun and unique driving experience.
I love what you've done here with that 2 speed tranny. Super job. I ordered the truck and the 2 speed because of your build. Did you make the rear bed cover, looks so nice.
Nothing to fear or be ashamed about, these are scale models at the end of the day that we all enjoy building, driving, and expressing our creativity with. If some shame and or can't understand said interests, they should simply be ignored. Whenever I go out trailing either in a group or solo, people tend to show interest, usually ending up chatting about this part of the hobby which they never knew existed. If driving tiny trucks provides you joy, then it doesn't matter what others may think.
@@ThatTinyTruckGuy Well said good man. I'm going to learn how to build off-road ready D12's for my nephews and I to play with on their visits. No experience in RC's so it could be a challenge! Where's the best place to start? Kind of need a check list to reach the modification level of your white or yellow truck here!
One of the best places to start would be with WPL. Their trucks are not too complicated yet have plenty of room for modifying down the line. If a kit is something you would like to tackle, then the WPL C44 - KM would be the best place to start in my opinion. Very scale and will teach the user all of the basics. If however, you want something ready to go out of the box, then the WPL C34 RTR would be my recommendation. There is no need to modify from the start, drive it, enjoy it, and then figure out what you would want to change to suit.
Performs far better than I expected, being only rear wheel drive!
Very beautiful off-road dusk run!
Nice video and scenery 🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
In the netherlands? The same scenery as were i live!
I love this build

They're little scamps aren't they? (Bedford pun intended)
What esc are you using?
It is an older Dynamite,
DYN4820WP is the part number, although I don't believe they are in production anymore.
@@ThatTinyTruckGuy ah ok, thanks for your response! (new subs!)
I’d love to spend a day doing this although I fear I might get a few strange looks 😂
