- A must have pattern that is ultra quick to tie and very realistic on the water. The hot glue rods can be purchased for next to nothing at hobby shops and one rod will make enough ants for you and all your fishing friends for a lifetime! Just remember that you have to hold your heat source a good distance under the hook, just enough to soften the glue not burn it.

🐜🐜🐜
Gracias Rodrigo.
Very nice pattern
Glad you like it Ed, Thanks.
Another great looking fly. Every fly that you tie for us, is like a work of art. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skill with us. Really looking forward to the next fly. Thank you sir.
Much appreciated Paul. Thanks.
Very cool tie. I’ll have to tie a couple of these for the box. There’s a reason you were fly tyer of the year.
Thank you Ryan.
Lovely neat work as usual.
Thank you Scot.
I bet the glue part is real tricky!
It takes time to master.
Amazing take on a very effective pattern. Thanks for sharing you talent with us, Mr Clarke.
You are very welcome Todd.
Awesome !! Going out to get some hot glue now! Thanks for sharing! Tight lines
Good luck with it, let me know how you get on.
@@Thefeatherbender Sure will !!
Nice! Does this hot glue has a good floating effect?
Not really, but it floats fine with the hackle and dry fly powder.
Never tied this one although I have a similar thing the parachute being a pair of ginea fowl wings and the hackle just normal between the bumps, works good when the drones are flying. Oddy enough the red butt and black head seems to be prime.
Give it a go Brian, works a treat!
@@Thefeatherbender I have little doubt of that, every ant tie I have is a worker.
No daña el anzuelo el calor del encendedor?
No, no necesitas un calor serio para hacer eso porque están templados a un calor muy alto.
Very cool technique, Barry! Would you say the hot glue body is more or less buoyant than a dubbed body version of the same dimensions?
Hi Jesse, on its own it doesn't float, but with hackle if floats fine.
Can I get an honest answer?
Where are these heritage hooks made? China? Norway? Singapore? Portugal? Or Malaysia?
They are made at the Mustad factory in China.
@@Thefeatherbender easy pass for me. Thanks for the honest answer.
Mustard Heritage isn't new. I've been buying them for a couple years. But good tie as always.
Hi Keith, some of the program have been available in the US for a while but the whole program has just been released globally.
Nice. Not much to that one. Tight lines🐜🪰🦗!!!!!
Try it!
Have you tried Tim Flagler’s method of bottoms up parachute method? ruclips.net/video/sySITml1YE4/видео.html
No I haven't but just had a look at it and I will now. Thanks!
