I have a commercial pilot license with multi engine ratings. I had a heart attack 2 years ago. I am looking forward into flying an ultra light aircraft
You can also fly a Light Sport Aircraft without a medical, you just need a driver's license. You're not restricted to ultralights. Light Sport Aircraft have a maximum of two seats and many are enclosed cockpit.
Was going to ask if unannounced straight ins are now the norm and then.......Glad your OK. Did look like your dirt bike riding skills kicked in (inside leg down) there at the end. Might want to put some nubs/stops on the end of those rudder peddles if your foot slipped off the right one.
This is Wingman Ron. The previous owner put heel brakes near the rudder pedals and I’m having difficulty finding them, in part because my heel keeps Bouncing off on the uneven/rough ground and runway. I’m reverting back to the original rudder pedals and moving the brakes to a hand lever on the stick.
Not sure if that was a ground loop or a perfectly executed first turn pull off. Looked like you were late for dinner! Great plane. I love these and the top Rudder style. One day Ill get an airframe. I already have a 447.
Must have got a call from the tower to expedite his taxi off of the runway.
The Airbike looks like fun and your engine has a sweet sound... Thumbs up

The power slide makes that video
I want one
I have my PPL, but man, I would love to have an air bike just to play around in
perfect
zero trim at 50 mph and hands off , very nice
what covering is on it ?
I’m not really sure what the covering is. I’ve fly a couple of other ultralights that have Dacron covering, but this one is most likely Stitz.
What kind of plane is it ?
Show us the whole picture of it
It’s a TEAM Airbike.
What prop do you have on your airbike?
Really amazing
it a lot of fun and scary at the same time. thanks for watching.
did your wing man stay with you that crossed your path at 1035 ft?
yes he did.
What engine?
Practice landings on grass runways, less groundloops while learning to use those rudder pedals.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome little airport….
