I knew Kubernetes would be a challenge. Traefik is a whole separate challenge. I'm 20 minutes in and I feel like crying from all the endless choices. Hopefully I can get it all working.
I've made the choice to move from Docker and NGINX Proxy Manager. Those were easier times.

I was in the same position two months ago, but was able to get it running. Keep at it because Kubernetes is the future.

Let me know if you need some help with setting up letsencrypt TLS. I lost a couple of hairs on that one.

quite the opposite in my case, Traefik was easy to set up and it feels more premium than nginx ..
