I feel like I’ve been searching for so long for a grad student channel from a history student! They’re always math or sciences, and it’s refreshing to see the experience from somebody in my field. I’m currently waiting on acceptances for my own PhD programs and watching your videos inspire me so much!
My favorite video length is right around 20 minutes because I can watch the whole thing while getting ready for the day, eating lunch at my desk, or while making dinner! But I watch all your vlogs no matter how long :)
The title of this vlog just made me so happy!! We love a Lorelai Gilmore moment :). Also I think I like the slightly longer vlogs--perfect to watch while I am grading!
Just found your channel earlier this week, ironically while I was stressing about imposter syndrome over starting my undergrad thesis XD. I love your content and can't wait to continue watching your journey and ingesting all the knowledge and wisdom you can pass down!
I really enjoy these week in the life vlogs. Also, I like that you show you’re working setup (the laptop for zooming on one side, the big screen directly ahead for reading your paper, while you take notes). Any time you can walk through the process of how you do your accountability or note taking. I am so down for that. I like that you also switched up your reading of school work for the library location (attempted) and then the coffee shop (when library card didn’t quite work). I get so tired of sitting at my desk all day for zoom and reading and everything. It’s a good reminder to change up the location sometimes despite COVID. I’m curious about how your accountability group works both in practical terms (what do you do you try to do/how do you keep on task during it and not chat/and how did you form the group) and in equipment terms (it looks like that’s what the laptop on the laptop stand is for to Zoom that group while you work on your main computer, right?).
Yey for the Trinity College Dublin mention! I'm a 4th-year undergrad there now, hoping to continue on to masters then PhD afterwards, either in TCD or the UK. I'm not really into watching volgs but I love and look forward to watching yours. I find your videos really inspiring, motivating and informative. I watch them all and love them long! Also, great idea of bringing on a professional development consultant. I think entering the labour market and getting internships etc. can be quite hard to navigate, if not in many ways quite inaccessible.
omg the part about the uncomfortable feeling that comes with reading works about "the winning of the west" KILLED ME I do critical race studies in mythologies of the american west and I felt so seen
Your notes looks amazingly beautiful. How do you do it? I extremely enjoy the mix of small and long videos. I get bored of channels only doing long or short videos.
Good Morning, Friends and Happy Sunday! Let me know if you enjoy these slightly longer weekly vlogs or if you prefer single or two day vlogs!
I personally prefer the longer weekly vlogs, because of my own class schedules. It’s nice to enjoy this with my Sunday morning coffee 💜☮️✨
Thank you so much for the feedback ♥️♥️
I agree! Longer vlogs are the best!
Yay! I’ll keep filming them 🥰
same!

When it snowed, that first episode where it snowed in Stars Hollow immediately came to mind :) The nostalgia hit hard

Aw thank you so much for watching and I am so glad you're enjoying my videos
Love these longer vlogs, especially seeing you plug away at working and then getting an exciting research idea!
I love your vlogs! They help me dream big!! Have a great rest of your weekend!
Thank you ♥️♥️ you too 🥰
I prefer longer vlogs. Really enjoying watching btw. As a mature student doing an undergraduate degree vids are very helpful and inspiring!

Love the aesthetic of this video! Also, I can’t wait to hear more about your horse back riding news!

I just write incredibly small lol
@@KaelynGraceApple That helps. Do you use smaller millimeter ink pens?
Yep! Pilot G2 .38mm are a must!
TheRedHeadAcademic Oooh. I love new tiny pens inks sizes. I found out a few years back that smaller inks existed and been obsessed.
