Hey Zeek Thanks for the massive amounts of support given. This may or may not interest you but after much heartache I finally managed to film 5kftrp on the EOSM without any glitches. I also exported the 10-bit footage from Da Vinci onto SSD and imported into LumaFusion. The new LumaFusion update supports 10-bit. Bit long winded but it runs really well. Still not sure this is the best route for budding filmmakers but bloody hell it feels good when things go right.
Congrats 👏 It takes time to find the workflow you're most comfortable with, but once you get it, it's a great feeling. Glad to hear no glitching going on 😎👍
@@connectronbuilds9960 I don't have the S5 anymore, I mainly use 2x ZV-E10's for the studio. I need the AF. The 5D3 RAW is nice, you do though begin to crave 4K at some point haha.
Thank you Zeek for this tutorial! You've just convinced me to buy EOS M. I've ordered mine, and it will arrive next week :) This tutorial was much needed! I have to learn a lot from you. Cheers!
Hey Zeek, thanks for sharing your workflow in another great video :) About your Davinci Resolve (DR) workflow, you mention you export it ready for Final Cut (FC) and this confuses me a little. I don't get where FC comes into it. If you do all your grading in DR why do you even need to export into FC? Do you do any final tweaks in FC or have I missed something?
No problem. FCPX is my bread and butter, I'm so used to it and I much prefer to order my clips, adjust audio etc. in FCPX. If you are a native DR user then of course just stick to that 👍
Thanks for clarifying :) I'm just starting out on my video journey and given the basic version of Resolve is Free for beginners like myself I'm probably going to go with that for a while before deciding if I want to upgrade to their full paid version or look at FCPX.
The clips look great. One side note. Your node actually has nothing in it, you’re just adjusting the raw setting, this is not comprised in the node, it’s actually even before the first node at the debayering level. You can confirm that by activating/deactivating (Cmd+D on the node) that node.
Hey Zeek, I don't know if you know how to connect the EOS M as a webcam or somehow with OBS? I looked everywhere on this info and can't find anything. I can connect it to an Elgato, but there is no signal showing. Maybe you know something on this or potentially for a future video since EOS M doesn't support webcam through EOS utility.
Never tried it. Could possibly work with the Camera App "USB Camera PRO" for Android - Paid Version, I believe it has support for Webcam use, although I've never tried it. I did a video about it here: ruclips.net/video/vCdDZ8fXtis/видео.html
Thank you for a great walkthrough, Zeek. Have you tried using a ColorChecker with the RAW footage at record time (waveform levels, vectorscope, gamma adjustment) and avoid the exposure compensation in post? I've ordered the EOS M and can't wait to test the RAW workflow (I'm coming from a Nikon H.264 workflow, it should be a huge lfit.) In addition, that should in theory also streamline the post-processing color grading for the color baseline using the ColorMatch and WB functions. Thanks again for the great content. I look forward to more of your videos!
No problem! I have used the colorchecker, but now I just do it manually by eye and also pay attention to the waveform, histogram etc when grading. Post work is very flexible with DNG.
@@ZeekEOSZ One last question, and I apologize since I have yet to watch all the EOS M material on your channel. Which is the sharpest mode that you've found to be stable for 2-5 minutes shots, if resolution weren't a factor? I understand that the 1080 HD mode can have some moiré and other artifacts. Thank you for all your great content again and really appreciate your support for the amateur videographer community!
so when you change it to dng files, you just go straight to dng? for my pro res workflow I changed it to arii Alexa log c, then in DaVinci I used rec 709 to grade it can I do the same thing with dng? or its flat enough
I know it can never be perfect, but I'm having trouble with exports in QT4444 looking quite different than the colors I see in Resolve edit window - desaturated, etc, on my Mac. When I export to AVI, and open in VLC, they look the same as Resolve. I've seen some very complicated commentary on this... but is this just something you live with, and adjust for (ie. increasing saturation knowing the result will be flatter), or do you have a way to make your export look about the same as what is shown in Resolve?
Thanks Zeek, I'm a EOS-M trooper. But hey, i'm getting stuck with focus pixels. I understand how to remove them, but isn't that processing, though minial, still re encoding the entire clip...? therefore losing a generation of quality? Is there another workflow that would be more beneficial when removing them, like after export and in resolve or PP? Am I correct when thinking that any encoding of a video, weather its removing dots, adding text, or even doing nothing, is degrading the video a generation? I mean, whats the point of recording RAW when you can't use the first generation quality because you had to re-encode just to get rid of an anomaly like focus dots? Help me out here, maybe i'm just thinking too hard?
You're thinking too hard haha 😆 Don't use 3x3 chroma smooth in MLV app. Get rid of focus dots with these focus pixel maps. Download the zip file. Copy and paste the resolution map files into the MLV App interface. Pixel Maps: bitbucket.org/Dannephoto/mlv_app_compiler-git/downloads/focus_pixel_maps.zip Exporting as Raw DNG is good too if you work in Davinci Resolve, no quality loss.
Morning Zeek, I'm still watching every video of yours and still trying to learn 😬 Can I edit mostly in the MLV app and convert to H.264 and upscale to 4K and still maintain the quality? I won't do any colour grading in my editor, I just want to do it in MLV app to try and keep it as simple as possible. Cheers 👍🏼
Yes you can, in fact it's what I do when using MLV App. Though these days, I prefer Exporting DNG and working in Davinci Resolve. Export H.264 from there.
I record much more clips these days, DNG Export is just super quick. I like grading in davinci too. But sometimes I still use MLV App & prores, just whatever gets you the look you're after. :)
@@ZeekEOSZ Thank you for the reply Zeek and all the content you teach us noobs with. I have a question, quality-wise, what is the exact difference to editing the RAW in Davinci vs using the Alexa log? Am I getting a better quality using RAW DNG or is it a question of getting a certain look, like can I I get the alexa log look with the RAW DNGs? I hope that's not too confusing to read, I'm still wrapping my head around video editing. Thank you once again.
@@Voltisvoltis Well DNG is RAW Data that needs to be encoded to, e.g. S-Log /Alexa LOG,/ Canon LOG, Rec 709 etc... Exporting as DNG in MLV App is a quick export, and then you can get started in another editor like Davinci or Premiere. If you encode MLV Raw to Alexa LOG C in MLV app, export can take long. Both ways are good, it's just that DNG will be quicker. But if your clips are short MLV App is still fine, I love it.
@@ZeekEOSZ Ahhhh I see, I think I get it, thank you! So rather than doing the RAW processing, it's about doing the RAW in Davinci, and one later encodes it. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Would there be any reason to turn the raw footage to say Alexa LOG to get a certain look in Davinci or is there no need to do that?
@@Voltisvoltis Honestly, with Davinci it's a matter of playing around and seeing what look you like. I reckon the workflow shown in the video is top notch. I still use it. Sure you can do Alexa LOG, but it depends after doing it if that's the look you're after.
Awesome! How would i adress such problems as focus fixels or dead pixels? Haven't tested this process yet, i have always worked in mlv app until now :') Do you know at which point the material is debayerd? Does this happen when it is converted to cinema dng (mlv app) or when it is in resolve?
I placed a tutorial for that link in the description. You need to install "focus pixel maps" by downloading the zip folder full of resolution maps, then copy them all onto the MLV App Screen and they will all automatically load. They can be found here (The Zip towards the bottom): github.com/ilia3101/MLV-App/tree/master/pixel_maps You can enable 3x3 chroma smooth in MLV App which will also correct the Exported DNG's from MLV App, but can devalue the overall quality. Focus pixel maps is the best way. :)
Great video I am learning a lot.... again still a newbie to this mlv conversion thing.... my question is will the shots still remain (with raw capabilities) if I decide to just export directly from the mlv app to prores without touching any of the sliders from the mlv app. I want to still have raw capabilities (like changing white balance, ISO etc..) while editing and afterwards colouring (in DAvinci or Premire Pro) Thanks a lot mate!
DNG will have the raw flexibility, unfortunately not ProRes, but you can still adjudt white balance, hue, and so on with ProRes, it will have less flexibility.
@@ZeekEOSZ Thanks for that clarification... I have one more question do you have any tricks while shooting low light Indoor lighting? I set my aperture to f2.8 iso 200 (even at iso 400) and noticed that my shots where somewhat grainy when opened in the mlv app am I doing something wrong? Should i always shoot in 100 ? How do you go about shooting in interior light areas. Thanks agai
Thanks for championing ML raw. Results are really good. I’m not good at the obvious, so how do I get ML on EOS M to record 1920x1080 raw? The preset is great but won’t allow me to change the crop?
To record 1920x1080, a crop is achieved as the max with 1.6x crop it can achieve is 1736x976 16:9. The 1920x1080 preset would work great with wide angle lenses. Another great mode is the 5K FRTP, it's not true 5K, it's pretty much like an upscale, but the quality is definitely as good as FHD. I'll make a video next of all the settings. :)
Okay, my Canonn Eos-M just came in today. I'm downloading your items in the link for 4k and Dannephoto, do I just copy paste them in my sd card and continue?
Thank you for the video Zeek, I just got an EOS M and this helps massively! I do however have a problem, when I input the folder created by MLV into Davinci, it is imported as all of the individual frames rather than a video; this means that any editing done only applies to individual frames of the whole project. Do you have any clue why this happens, and/or how to remedy this? Thanks again :)
I ran into this and the key is you have to be on the Edit page and drag the folder onto the timeline. If you are on Cut or Media, you'll get just a huge list of images. Hope this helps.
No worries! Yeah, when you have to deal with a lot of files and don't have the patience, stick with DNG. MLV App is still a great option though if you have short clips,..or the patience ;)
Hello I hope you can help me, I am trying to export my MLV file using the magic lantern app but for some reason what ever destination I choose on my computer. I am not able to locate the exported file. Please help me.
Zeek! Hey, my man. 100% due to you I am now the owner of an EOS M2 -- my cage, wiring for external phone monitor, and lenses are all in the mail. lmao. So.... I encountered an interesting issue when shooting 14-bit RAW. I'm getting this "screen door" effect from the pixels. Like a dot matrix all over my footage. Have you experienced this?
Awesome 👍 The thing you're mentioning are focus pixels. I have focus pixel maps above for the EOS M, download thw file extract and then paste into MLV App Screen for them to load. Then restart MLV App. They are for the M, but I'm sure that should hopefully also work for the M2. Otherwise enable 3x3 Chroma smooth in MLV App.
Hey Zeek! Do you know if the latest version of MLVApp contains all of the necessary focus pixel maps for the EOS M... or do they have to been added to it? Thanks for ongoing vidoes
Thanks a lot for Video.. Please advise how to work correctly with RAW files from Canon M camera? All videos do it differently... My head is already spinning. I realized the best way to upload such files in Cinema DNG Uncompressed format But everyone on RUclips shows their way different. Some make a preset for some reason on Arrie Alexa, then unload to Davinci and there put Camera Raw - Clip... But not everyone uses Color Space Transform node. Please advise me how to work best with a RAW file with the Canon M. Should I just not touch anything in MLV app unload as Cinema DNG Uncompressed and then in Davinci only apply Camera Raw? Then what about Node - Color Space Transform? In this case, it's no longer Log video and it's not needed, right? Or we need to use Node - Color Space Transform?
There is Color Space in project settings itself - is it the same node or something else? I'm sorry if it's a bit rambling... my question is probably too complicated for a full-blown video lesson))) If you are export in Cinema DNG - why are you using Log presets?? I really don't understand
Hi Zeek. I’m still stumbling my way through magic lantern workflow. I’m following this video and everything works good until it comes to dragging the dng folder for my clip into resolve timeline. Instead of a single video for each dng as in your video, it is loading each individual frame on the left side and creating a timeline from them. That would be fine, however in the timeline, each frame lasts around 6 seconds, instead of 1/24 of a second. There must be a setting I’m missing or something. Also, I’m recording in 5k anamorphic, 16:9, 12bit, my footage is also squashed horizontally. Can’t seem to find the setting for that in resolve either. Any help would be great! Thanks much
This video shows you how to stretch out 5K FRTP Anamorphic footage in Resolve: ruclips.net/video/IJHmFBnmF4g/видео.html I haven't experienced what you've experienced. Could be a windows issue with MLV App, not quite sure there. Maybe check your cut in and cut out frames in MLV App.
I ran into this and the key is you have to be on the Edit page and drag the folder onto the timeline. If you are on Cut or Media, you'll get just a huge list of images. Hope this helps.
Hey Zeek, I am a Magic Lantern noob and would like to try shooting 4K with my 5D Mark II. I have been searching for a good tutorial to explain the basics on which software to load and what options are needed on the camera. If you have one and I have missed it please point me to it, if not please consider this as a future video request! Thanks and keep up the great videos. :)
Glad to hear 👍 4K Raw isn't possible with the 5D II, if you want higher resolution on this camera, 2.8K which I did a video about is available for that camera and it's very very good in terms of detail, especially when you upscale it to 4K. It's max 2.35:1 @2.8K, or 2.1/2.3K Raw @16:9.
Zeek Thanks, but I already own a 5D2 - bought it when it first came out! I have been using it for photography, but in the last couple years have started shooting camping videos with my iPhone and wanted to improve the quality and get used to using a camera for video rather than just a phone.
Great!! iv been using this now for a while its the best worflow for me.. i also edit my videos directly in resolve.. the biggest problem i have is importing anamorphic 5k i calculate and resize it in the coloring options but im not sure if this is the optimal way to do this.
Great to hear! I mainly use the DNG Workflow for 2.5/2.8k & x3 Crop Mode, for 5K Anamorphic Mode, in Davinci you need to stretch those clips horizontally to get them back to a 16:9 state. In the timeline, "retime and scaling" - set scaling to "stretch".
Hi Zeek! thank you for another great tutorial. im hoping you can help my understanding as I am a month old in all of this. The whole point to buying these camera is the RAW capabilities. Unless Im wrong to my understanding once you export to a Pro Res format its all baked in then, meaning we dont have that RAW editing media available after we inport it to FCPX. Im just trying to understand all this but isnt that the point? if I Export from MLV to proRes4444 and all the Raw 12-14bit info isn't available for color grading then im wasting my time I feel. If there a way to edit actual RAW footage in FCPX? or Priemer Pro?
You can export RAW DNG to grade in Premiere or DaVinci Resolve and get those flexible capabilities. ProRes 4444 is 12 Bit, so it still has good flexibility in post.
Zeek, man, did u ever had problems with "hot pixels" on your sensor? When I'm shooting video and sensor worming up then 3-4 very bright dots red and blue color comes out and they are always on my video on the same place. The problem is mlv app is not hiding them even with turned on "fix brocken pixels" function. If u had the same problem, how did u resolve it?
You need to install Focus Pixel Maps in MLV App, just download the zip towards the bottom of this link and paste all the resolution files into MLV App: They can be found here (The Zip towards the bottom): github.com/ilia3101/MLV-App/tree/master/pixel_maps

Great video again ! I got one question if you observe it also ? When you change the profile preset and you put what ever you want ... the export result will be still the same ... is it normal ? When I export my footage with CinemaDNGUncompressed, my footage is never "flat" (what I would like) under davinci resolve when I import it. Hello Zeek. I have two questions. Number one: do I always have to take framerate override 24,000 when exporting DNG in MLV app ? Number two: when DNG with 24 FPS setting, how do you export the audio file afterwards or would you leave out "framerate override" in this case?
@Zeek. Eos m bdm film is more “yellow” with the total same shot and same setup
hello Zeek I hope you are well, I have some doubts, I am in a learning period, I have been recording some clips at 2.8k and when I open them in MLV if I enlarge the image I see small red and blue streaks all over the image, why is it? And I would like to know how much you scale the 2.5k and the 2.8k when you import them as dng or prores. I hope you can clarify my doubts! greetings from Spain !
Download these focus pixel.maps and then paste them all onto MLV App interface bitbucket.org/Dannephoto/mlv_app_compiler-git/downloads/focus_pixel_maps.zip
Zeek, when I have pink frames, is that means my camera overloaded or my flashcard is overloaded? Because I just installed ml on my 5dm2 but still waiting for my fast compact flash. Have there been changes to Davinci Resolve? When I drag an exported folder (containing all of the individual RAW files) into Davinci, it shows each individual file (i.e. each frame) rather than a single video file.
Check inside the exported folders. There should be more than one frame. If so and the issue is still there, I'd Google it as I've never experienced such a thing.
@@ZeekEOSZ there's more than one frame. All frames are there, but they are individual frames, rather an a video file. Your example showed you dragging the folder into Davinci and it showing as a video file. I'll do a google and see what comes up. Cheers for the prompt response!
I've been watching a lot of your videos and want to use Magic Lantern. I have a t3. I downloaded a couple versions of ML and can't seem to get Raw as an option.

Hi Zeek, so much intersting topics in your channel! it detailed every step to use EOS M with ML! Have you tried to export H.264 file with Davinci ? I compared result with MLV APP directly output H.264 file. The bit rate of Davinci's output is much lower than MLV.APP's :( For Davinci i am using Davinci 16 free vesion, and my current workflow is MLV.APP->ProRes 422 =>Davinci (after color grading) -> H.264 mp4 file , then the biggest bit rate(around 36000kbps) with this way is only half of MLV APP directly output (around 72000kbps) .
I still prefer DaVinci Resolve. Dynamic range seems more retained. I export so many big files these days, and am now more fluent with the Davinci Resolve Workflow. I think it's really good. For shirt clips, MLV App is fine, or if you prefer to leave the PC/Mac running overnight to load all the clips.
I exported a video (about two minutes long) as Cinema DNG from the MLV App, then imported it into Davinci, and every frame is five seconds long, totaling to about five hours long! Any idea what in the world is going on there? Lolz. Thank you.
@@ZeekEOSZ sad, as I was thinking maybe there will be a 2.7K available etc as the + 1.6 crop factor is beah.. by the way, could you please advice, as I am not sure because of this crop if I did a good decision to choose the M50 instead on sony a6500. It seems the lates one does not have an additional crop for the 4k..
Use Dannes latest build in the description link. Otherwise my settings go through how to set them up. There are custom modes e.g. cm1, CM2, just setup each one to your preference. Changing presets is found in Tab 3, I prefer 5K Anamorphic FRTP & High Resolution Modes. If you're using a monitor, you will most likely encounter pink frames, otherwise, make sure four fps is not at 30fps but 24/25 fps.

you edit cinema dng raw but you use color space rec 709 for better qualty and better dynamic range you can use color space BMD COLOR SPACE and also you set aspec ration for 4k 2.35 for render but you render 16.9 but your video 2.35 that make more data black place more data you can set resulation 3840x1665 l think like that for 2.35 aspec ration
You can use any Color space you prefer, this is the way I do it, there is enough dynamic range in the scene. I can't add anymore. I've tested other gammas, and it's always good to play around and see what works for you. Sometimes I have a mix of 2.35 & 16:9 clips on the same timeline. I prefer a 16:9 Export for this. About your Davinci Resolve (DR) workflow, you mention you export it ready for Final Cut (FC) and this confuses me a little. I don't get where FC comes into it. If you do all your grading in DR why do you even need to export into FC?
Do you do any final tweaks in FC or have I missed something?
No problem. FCPX is my bread and butter, I'm so used to it and I much prefer to order my clips, adjust audio etc. in FCPX. If you are a native DR user then of course just stick to that 👍
Thanks for clarifying :)
I'm just starting out on my video journey and given the basic version of Resolve is Free for beginners like myself I'm probably going to go with that for a while before deciding if I want to upgrade to their full paid version or look at FCPX.

Yeah it's up to you, whatever feels natural to you. 😉👍
The clips look great.
One side note. Your node actually has nothing in it, you’re just adjusting the raw setting, this is not comprised in the node, it’s actually even before the first node at the debayering level. You can confirm that by activating/deactivating (Cmd+D on the node) that node.
Hey Zeek,
I don't know if you know how to connect the EOS M as a webcam or somehow with OBS? I looked everywhere on this info and can't find anything. I can connect it to an Elgato, but there is no signal showing. Maybe you know something on this or potentially for a future video since EOS M doesn't support webcam through EOS utility.
Never tried it. Could possibly work with the Camera App "USB Camera PRO" for Android - Paid Version, I believe it has support for Webcam use, although I've never tried it. I did a video about it here:

@@ZeekEOSZ Gotcha, thank you for your reply.
Dang... Well need you to show us how you setup DaVinci Resolve 17 for Raw workflow
so when you change it to dng files, you just go straight to dng?
for my pro res workflow I changed it to arii Alexa log c, then in DaVinci I used rec 709 to grade it
can I do the same thing with dng? or its flat enough
Yes you can. You set arri in Color management or other gamut/gamma
Hi, I am on windows 10 and mlvapp.exe not working. No error, nothing, just loading icon and stop. Anyone any idea?
You're thinking too hard haha 😆
Don't use 3x3 chroma smooth in MLV app.
Get rid of focus dots with these focus pixel maps. Download the zip file. Copy and paste the resolution map files into the MLV App interface.
Pixel Maps:

Exporting as Raw DNG is good too if you work in Davinci Resolve, no quality loss.
Great video, I subbed. Can I ask why you stopped using the Alexa Log profile in MLV App and just export the raw like that now?
@@Voltisvoltis
Well DNG is RAW Data that needs to be encoded to, e.g.
They can be found here (The Zip towards the bottom):
github.com/ilia3101/MLV-App/tree/master/pixel_maps
You can enable 3x3 chroma smooth in MLV App which will also correct the Exported DNG's from MLV App, but can devalue the overall quality.

I want to still have raw capabilities (like changing white balance, ISO etc..) while editing and afterwards colouring (in DAvinci or Premire Pro)
Thanks a lot mate!
Yes! 😎👍

Then restart MLV App. They are for the M, but I'm sure that should hopefully also work for the M2. Otherwise enable 3x3 Chroma smooth in MLV App.

Please advise how to work correctly with RAW files from Canon M camera?
All videos do it differently...
My head is already spinning.
I realized the best way to upload such files in Cinema DNG Uncompressed format
But everyone on RUclips shows their way different.
I'm sorry if it's a bit rambling... my question is probably too complicated for a full-blown video lesson)))
If you are export in Cinema DNG - why are you using Log presets??

Great to hear! I mainly use the DNG Workflow for 2.5/2.8k & x3 Crop Mode, for 5K Anamorphic Mode, in Davinci you need to stretch those clips horizontally to get them back to a 16:9 state. In the timeline, "retime and scaling" - set scaling to "stretch".
i love you mannnn!!!
Hi Zeek! thank you for another great tutorial. im hoping you can help my understanding as I am a month old in all of this.
It's actually only 10 bit because mlv app uses FFmeg

@@ZeekEOSZ thanks for sharing!
I exported a video (about two minutes long) as Cinema DNG from the MLV App, then imported it into Davinci, and every frame is five seconds long, totaling to about five hours long! Any idea what in the world is going on there? Lolz.
Thank you.
Check MLV App Frames on the top right panel with the red X and reset them and see the total frames maybe. Never experienced this before.
@@ZeekEOSZ OK, thank you. Are you referring to the "red X" in Davinci or in MLV App?

Mlv app
Hey Did you fix the problem?
@@ZeekEOSZ I have the same problem. I can't find this Frames with red X. is it in the EDIT window? Which section it is under? Thanks.
Good eos M
Indeed :)
Me indonesia...good raw video editing...
any magic lantern on canon m50?
Unfortunately not
@@ZeekEOSZ sad, as I was thinking maybe there will be a 2.7K available etc as the + 1.6 crop factor is beah..
by the way, could you please advice, as I am not sure because of this crop if I did a good decision to choose the M50 instead on sony a6500. It seems the lates one does not have an additional crop for the 4k..
@@VictoriosoCH
I personally would prefer the A6400/A6500. I love my EOS M, and as an extra side camera the Sony's do a nice job with AF. 😎👍
Could you do a video focusing on extra crop and liveview limitations of the different RAW modes?
Yes I can, there are so many different modes now, but im sure I can get round to it. Within the new 3/4 vids. 👍
Leave gamma as sRGB
Will see no problems with pink highlights
dear zeek, why i only can choose presets 1080p and 5k anamorphic? the other presets give a pink screen, and error evertime i hit record
@@ZeekEOSZ i already applied it,btw there is a new build today. i also tried that one. i already followed all your setting, still no luck. each time i choose presets other than 5k anamorphic or 1080p, the screen goes like that, and it gives me error when hit record. all the same for 2,5k , 3k, 4k, except 5k anamorphic and 1080p. i always use 24fps and btw i dont use monitor
@@untukdummy8695
What SD card are you using?
@@ZeekEOSZ sandisk extreme pro 95MB/s
for 5K anamorphic, it goes smoothly, just a few corrupted frame sometimes
you edit cinema dng raw but you use color space rec 709 for better qualty and better dynamic range you can use color space BMD COLOR SPACE and also you set aspec ration for 4k 2.35 for render but you render 16.9 but your video 2.35 that make more data black place more data you can set resulation 3840x1665 l think like that for 2.35 aspec ration
The files have already been exported to their respective aspect ratios from MLV App.
@@ZeekEOSZ thank you for answer l have just some ideas l love magic lantern raw video l watch all your video thank you

No worries, thanks for sharing 😎👍🎥
Hope this saves me storage space 😭🙏🏽
Export DNG Lossless, even smaller.
@@ZeekEOSZ okay sounds good zeek!! and when I'm exporting in DaVinci can I upscale to 4k? or how should I do my export settings to get ready for the edit, I dont edit in DaVinci I just use it to color
better question, when you're done colouring what do you export to be ready to press publish on RUclips?
@@LouisLuzuka
In Davinci you can use superscale.
Like you, I colour grade in Davinci but edit and export in FCPX.
I export as Prores 422 HQ or sometimes 4444 from DaVinci. H.264 is used for final delivery to web etc..
@@ZeekEOSZ ohhh so I can export the grade to edit in Final Cut Pro? thats interesting okay okay, I'm learning :D
After buy a Canon M, i found. I'ts hard to control...

Dude slow down your talking I hardly catch what you are saying honestly sport c wot I did there goodday is there any way can can do a video showing can you do a file I just save to my SD card for magic lantern and it just saves all your settings so I don't have todo manual settings it's to complicated I'm new to this love my canon EOS M you main reason I got mine love it magic lantern hard to navigate
Not as fast as Geraldundone, haha ;) But hey, sometimes I get excited about this kind of stuff. All my settings for the Canon EOS M can be downloaded as Builds in the description of those videos on my channel. There are heaps of resources in the description, and that's pretty much the place where I put my builds.
what¿¿ I understood perfectly and I barely speak any English. just learnt from moviesn and songs!
