If you go flying kicks or heavy smash just hold your smash button for like half a second to reset the rush chain. It works once in all 5 directions. Including nuertal. Love it for extending or starting a combo with it too for armor breaking properties Edit:like 4 hits into up or down smash so you can have another rush chain Edit: also smash into smash works too if your fast enough. Smash left smash right into rush chain maybe do sweep and go for downward and it restands him too Edit 2: its the perfect response after giant dash spam. Super perception and just smash go through giant armor.
I recommend trying to catch one of Alans streams! Super enjoyable and chill. Was able to catch the US east and us west watch party and had a good time.

There's a funny thing that I remember every time you say "Gut punch". The brazilian bt3 community calls gut punch "bucho break" and the translation would be something along the lines of "Tummy break" or "Tummy punch".

Psychokinises needs a buff or to be removed. Think it's the slowest of the stun skills, and its range is tiny. And im pretty sure it doesn't last as long as others Never bother with it The Sparking Super is a reference to the movie. He distracts Goku with a beam blast before dropping the ball. But it's kinda wild to me that Broly of all things is the bar. Given the beast he becomes after transforming. I get that's the point of the character, but goddamn, can Cooler get some of that insta spark, unblockable + buff action?
Oh also I found a way to connect Sparking Zero to my other hobby, playing drums. Currently I am approaching combos (either getting combo'd or doing combos) like a rhythm game where the rhythm depends on the speed of the combo. Almost like I played Sekiro. And it helps me to go from mashing to doing controlled combos, unless I get stressed when I start loosing. But this is an approach I will keep trying because it comes natural to me and gives me offensive and defensive capabilities I think. Never would have guessed I would go that deep into the game. After finishing Story Mode I was like "hell yeah, button mashing and flashy images" but online battles really change the game

Both base and final form cooler can land a charged ki blast after 5 hits into a step in hit from the front. Charged ki blast provides enough time to side step and catch their back before the paralysis ends so Cooler essentially gets free backshots even if his combos start from the front. You can also land charged ki blast after his gut punch perception for the same effect
One cool thing you can do with characters with paralyzing ki-blast: If you stun them with a gut punch ir something, you can sidestep and then combo into the charged ki blast and then get their back from there. For many other chars it's tough to get much out of a fontal combo.

YO I finally got the guts to play cooler in dp since you said if you like a character, make it work. And I am having so much fun! I know base cooler has its problems but max cooler is a killer. The damage is huuuuge and the charge hits are brutally fast. Cant believe you missed those! His combos can go over 20k with correct charge hits and his sweep is the fastest ive seen. And with 6 dp i can still have adult gohan (2 ace characters!), buff roshi, spopo and mr satan. I am S4 and i did have great games even against s2, winning. What I am doing now is grinding singles as base form cooler to learn how to keep him as healthy as long as possible. Ive noted that even base cooler can do decent damage with correct combos. I do disagree about you saying gut punch as last is bad. You do the charge gut punch, then do regular 2 punches and a charged rolling hammer before the enemy can recover from the gut punch. Then boom you got the back. And the KI with cooler even when charged doesnt push the enemy so far. Cooler definitely has a lot of flaws but if you can get into final form and put the enemy in the blender, theyre done. And you can use a charged stun ki to reset your enemy after a gut punch ;). If you time your first hit of the rush chain RIGHT after the enemy is out of stun, it resets and the enemy cant react. + his barrier will save you from broly ki spam + ulti, i think
And I do have to add, base cooler rush chain seems to be, for some reason a bit hard to super counter. He has the same moves as meta cooler and Ive had so much hard time super countering not sure why. Maybe a fluke? Have try doin full string backshots in singles and see how much ppl counter And sry if you came up with some of the ideas I said in my post, i only had the time to watch the analyze part before work :D
More stuff I forgot to add to my earlier comment: eye beam can be used as a punish. Lets say it is the end of the map and he decides it is good time for raw instant sparking. Eye beam has unlimited range and it happens at the same speed everytime no matter the distance. More tech: the ki cannon is definitely not my favorite ESPECIALLY as a step in. But Ive managed to use it as a combo ender to make them fly, and then set up my transformation. If I have spare ki I can use a blast super. It is suprsingly fast and not so easy to vanish and then get full ki with transformation. Full ki gauge Ive got lots of options. Keep pressure up with ki blasts and z burst, maybe even go sparking. Might even be ok time for rush super if the enemy is low enough health to die to it (and if not you can do instant finger beam at the end of the rush super to finish it but this does lock you for quite a time so it has to be lethal or youre cooked). You cant quite spam finger beam as cooler compared to slug due to longer cool down.
Yo I think it’s worth noting that I believe you get a guaranteed charged ki blast after using the dash follow up up or down attack after 5 basic attacks. Idk if that makes any sense
I think the stun skills should activate quicker based on how long the stun timer is. I like using Guldo but the stun is too risky for just a 3 second stun where SSG gokus is 5
Like God Goku, Cooler can use psychokenisis to setup a transformation and from there get a super off while your opponent is still stunned. Although with cooler only having 4 skill points in base you'll go back to 0 after doing this combo.
Berserk Kale's stun isn't just Fast, it's damn near instant. However, it's got extremely short range for these. Super Buu I believe is the one with the fast stun, there's a bit of startup but his has the normal range.
The more I look at and play against the giants and their dash spam the more I feel like… make the revenge counter more valuable! That would help a lot; a 3 second armor debuff or summ, idk 😂
Do you think they should adjust the DP limit to allow for a bit more variety of stronger characters? Something like 17 instead of 15, or would that be too strong?

I finally got around to playing the game for real after pausing to watch the tournaments, and oh my god I had no idea what I was doing, I was just flailing around trying to do moves and failing, I felt like my hands had gone completely stiff, I still got a ton of learning to do lol (this comment was posted on the last vid, but this vid came out just a few minutes after I posted it so I deleted it there and put it up here, what timing)

I hate when they pick and choose who gets original moves, base cooler didn’t have to be this lame . They even fuck up moves like Ultimate Gohans ultimate when the original blueprint already exist.
@alwuhugaming Imo DP values are the biggest things that need updating. 2nd biggest would be Skill Point values for insta-sparking moves being increased and buffs being decreased.

Buffing for balancing fighting games is much preferred for me. Many strong strats with many strong counters makes for lots of viable play styles

The best way to hit coolerlaser eyes is when de opponent gots into the knockback recovery (but even then it’s hard to hit)
