THE WILD ROBOT Is A Masterpiece (Movie Review)

- Dreamworks' newest film "The Wild Robot" is officially in theaters this weekend. I went in with rock bottom expectations and left stunned. Far from being just the best animated film of the year, it's also one of the best films I've ever seen.

Watching this tonight with a friend that I convinced to come along. Might do so again with other friends that I've convinced to take interest later. Trying my best to spread it around with how many positive reviews I've seen :)
Edit: yeah, it was great. Best animated movie I've seen since Puss in Boots: The Last Wish IMO. I will continue to spread this.
Literally just saw the movie and… I’ve never cried so much in one movie my eyes hurt it’s awesome the first little bit was a bit fast paced but after that it was perfection that’s movies nowadays bad movies are worse and good movies are great

Yup. This, transformers one, and inside out 2 rank among my top 3 favorite animated films of the year
I disagree, The Wild Robot is IMO better the T1. And im a massive transformers fan. Wild Robot had better pacing, and was just voiced aswel. I think T1 is easily the second best film of the year. But Wild Robot is just better in so many ways.

Seriously, Wild Robot is sooo good. Animation was flawless and voice acting was superb.
Saw it yesterday and yes this film is definitely my fave for the year.

Yeah but The book is better
Why did they have to shuffle around the story beats
Now the character progression and motivation is so weak
Children's stories is not high art, just follow the story structure
But I guess the screen writer needs to earn his pay
Shame it went from good to just OK
