Corral Fork MTB POV in Autumn

POV Mountain biking Corral Fork & Little Creek Trails on the Uncompahgre Plateau, Colorado in late September. Aspen and scrub oak leaf change is almost in full peak! Corral Fork trail runs mostly downhill along a small brook trout creek that begins in a dry ponderosa pine forest and quickly changes into a lush aspen and conifer forest filled with ferns and moss with multiple springs and creek crossings. As you descend further, the forest type transitions into a mix of scrub oak and into the sagebrush high desert. The total descent from the top to bottom of Corral Fork and Little Creek trail is 4.75 miles and about 1,000 feet of elevation loss. Enjoy!
