They may be besties, but Pleng's starting to figure out that something is different with Wan. I think Wan was definitely already in love with Pleng. She just didn't want to scare Pleng away. Pleng is scared, because she's just realized that she's having romantic feelings for Wan, but she's scared of her own feelings, and of losing Wan, if Wan doesn't feel the same. I think all queer people have gone through this in some shape or fashion...I know I did. Pleng wasn't trying to drown herself. She was in that hot ass tub in a closed off room with no real ventilation for over an hour and passed out from all the heat. Kinda like people tell ya not to stay in a sauna for too long or you'll pass out from the heat.
