Levan hasn't faced an inside puller like Genadi at all in Top 8. And Genadi doesn't even have the strongest hook or press in the world, by far. Feed Levan to Denis or Jerry.. he might get devastated.

I remember a younger Genadi pulling Brzenk back in 2010/2011 area, John beat him pretty easily back then ... would've love to see him pull Genadi in 2015, although by that time John was around 50yrs old..
It's too bad but father time always wins in the end, no matter how strong u are in ur prime.
Right now it's Levan's turn as the King and he may there for awhile.

This was peak gennadi.2015-2016. from 2017 he started gaining weight and lost his endurance and stamina. Still good enough to beat devon.

@@ajithnair2890 growth hormones. You can clearly see how levan‘s body structure changed through the years. Although levan is already big by himself seen in the beginning of the video, compared to today’s levan, this one looks skinny. Every part of the body grows and even bones too.

Every puller has a specific time where they are at their best ( John not included.. he's just different ) and 2015 to 2017 was his. These wins against Levan were LEGIT.

Nope. Genadi already lost to Chaffee recently. He never won against any of the big names. Levan is just overrated by almost everyone, because he never had to face a good inside puller after Genadi in 2018. Almost nobody realizes that. He only ever faced toprollers in Top 8 who played right into his strengths.
@@stoneeh I wouldn't say he is overrated but he definitely isn't invincible as people made out him to be. Devon said he has seen Levan lose often when people block him with their structure/frame rather than pure muscle. Gennadi beat him in a hook and flop press using bones and ligaments more prominently. Sabin beat him by using kingsmove which also uses bones, tendons and ligaments more prominently. I think Micheal beats him if he hasn't learned how to deal with people who use their bone structure more.

4:28 for being that huge in 2018 you'd think that he would flash genadi but he struggles. His strength to weight ratio is a bit off imo. Not saying he isn't strong but for that much weight he should be to flash anyone. Cyplenkov will beat him
I saw the way levan struggled for some time centre table against vitaly in round 1 top 8 final, i don't think cyplenkov would have been there that long trying to move vitaly off centre.
Levan is the strongest for now..... but i don't see him winning against cyplenkov when he returns and i think also that todd poses a big danger to levan as well.... just my opinion.
Levan will always beat Cyplenkov.Laletin would have flashed Cyplenkov.it is a matter of leverage.Also Laletin is much faster than Dennis.

I dont know why u guys are so fond of hyping this Levan dude? Can clearly see even with significant weight avantage here, he still have to suffer several losses to a much lighter, but more technical Genadi. If there is a ranking of pound-for-pound armwrestlers, Levan must be at the very bottom... lol. Still have certain respect for him though, he has determination and courages to risk his life to the top. And seems to be a nice dude in Larry videos.
He’s competing in open weight class so he can be as heavy as he wants. That’s like saying Thor Bjornsson/Brian Shaw is a bad strongman cause he wouldn’t be as good if he was 100 lbs lighter. Being big and using your size and strength to your advantage is part of the game. At the end of the day, Levan is no 1 in the world and probably the strongest to ever arm wrestle.
@@YFun-ux5rs He has every right to be as heavy as he wants but that doesn't combat any argument against his weight/power ratio. That said, his strength IS off the charts in context of the resistance movements he regularly performs. It's just that the technicalities of arm wrestling shine through whenever someone with more power elsewhere struggles against someone with less
