I like it because it breaks the norms of a regular isekai style like what's common these days. He has to balance his crazy fantasy and magical lifestyle, with his normal and mundane school life. Figuring out how to do his best in both worlds without favoring 1 too far over the other.

Example: A teacher being turned on by this high schooler to the point of suggesting she would wait for him to mature. If that been a male teacher to a female MC, you know how many people would be up in arms? And this: The MC knows what an ideal gift is for a king. He’s been making items and making money for the real world for sometime now. He knows what objects are worth plus the currency exchange between the two worlds and the ingame console he has. Yet he chose of all things, bed sheets. Seriously. Bed sheets. He has weapons and armor and pets that show their worth and function. Yet he chose bed sheets. I know this scene is played for comedy yet these scenes have a double edged sword - it makes the MC appear dumb…despite the scene trying to paint the king as outrageous and imperious. No. He is reacting as a king/father would. The MC is aware he is in a kings court and he could’ve brought out any number of items - even the lowest valued - and it would be considered priceless to the king and court.

This episode did give us more development for the first 2 girls finally. But the season is almost over already! And MC still hasn't DONE anything at all with his powers. He has no goal or rivals or obstacles to overcome. It's like watching a super hero movie with no villain. Or a romcom without any comedy. Even the girl in this episode barely bats an eyelash to THE EXISTENCE OF MAGIC and PORTALS TO ANOTHER WORLD. Her reaction was about the same as if he had told her the weather forecast!
