Exactly. It monitors heart rate. If you are a good liar and lie often, I don't think it will have the same effect on your body as someone who doesn't lie often. We knew in the beginning that Grant could and would lie through his teeth, so I'm not surprised he passed the test.

Taylor was really genuine and wasn’t trying to be strategic at the end at all, she was only concerned about whether Grant really loved her.. she was so genuine and he was actually emotional, it seemed very sincere..
I didn’t like Grant AT ALL originally, even before he screwed over Cassidy, but at the end I honestly saw him differently I think that even he surprised himself with how hard he fell for Taylor.. So it was really refreshing to watch him transform. 😌
BUT I’m side-eyeing him a lot now, he’s lost all credibility for me 💯, I really let go of my reservations with him (and so did Taylor - you could see it in her face she looked like a weight was lifted off her) after he passed that lie detector test & he “proved” he wasn’t a liar/cheater.

11.40 - even then Eden has to introduce another person and himself. I thought, in the house, he was not just bullying but so aggressive that I was scared for the other islanders. Why was he not made to leave immediately? He should've never been allowed to leave with Erin, he should have been given counselling and anger management courses. I have never been threatened by anyone the way he was threatening others in there and I felt panicked, gosh knows the triggering effect this could have had on domestic violence victims etc. It's one thing to keep islanders in there for drama (see Millie and Erin), it's another thing to keep someone like that in the house and then let him leave with Erin. See other contestants' videos about feeling threatened and scared of him and these are people who would be able to physically defend themselves. Shame on you Love Island.
Also the questions from both presenters are horrible and uncomfortable.
