Yes, i know. it is a genuine question that i was trying to ask. i almost see it on our every live stream from LCY. but this one looked so cool and i had this question how much distance altitude wise and gap between them. :)
We can use math to determine how close they were. We can divide the distance between the camera the A350-9 by the distance between the camera and the A320 (I presume it's an A320). If they seem to be the same size, it will be the same as dividing the length of the A320 by the length of the A350. 37.57/66.8 = 0.562 or the A350-9 is 56.2% farther away. So if the A320 is 1000m away from the camera, then both of the planes would be 562m apart
@@RankupAviation Oh. Well if I apply the same math but with the Embraer E190, If the Embraer is 1000m away from the camera. Both planes are 843m apart or 2766ft.
Could be anything over 2½ miles and maybe 3,500 to 4,000 feet vertival seperation, so absolutely nowhere near each other. The foreshortening of the lens distorts everything. Move along. Nothing to see here.
Optical illusion. Not that close. Strict rules exist in aviation for a reason. LCY and LHR work together every day so the flight paths are all well planned regardless of runways in use.
@@RankupAviationhas to be >1000 feet vertical separation - this one probably around 2000 feet separation at point appear to cross paths. Qatar around 5000, BA around 3000
Complete rubbish. The E190 is a much smaller aircraft than the A350, and in the video it is clear that the E190 is much closer to the camera and appears to be about the same size. You would see this sort of situation many times a day. They are safely separated by the application of standard safe procedures.
@@davidshawe8982 what is complete rubbish brov, me asking the question or the quality of the video. I know they were apart. Hence not the ! But a ? Was trying to figure out how far they were from each other in altitude and gap between both.
Nie shot!
Thanks bro 😎
@@RankupAviation You are welcome!
Well separated. Perfectly normal procedure. Happens multiple times ever day.

I am not sure, if they performed this visual flight under controlled visual flight rules 😉
