Great review, Brother !!! We know that you meant 12.5 days, instead of 12.5 hours at 15:29 of the video...LOL !!! Nice light ! Might get one of these for one of my neighbors, that is always working with a headlamp that he runs through batteries like a hot knife through butter. Keep up the great work !!!
That is Sexy !!! my fav is still the Fenix E12. far less bright and runs on AA batteries. and call me crazy but i like my light to be on low when i first turn it on. atleast for my edc uses. My bedside setup is a bit different. Thanks for the upload !
One thing I would note as an owner of this light. I work outside and have to look up poles and such. With it on your head over a hat the weight can be felt and a few times I feared it may slip right off tilting the head straight up
Thanks for your quick response. I just read on Ebay in the description section that these 21700 5000 mah batteries are Only for specific Olight flashlights. So not sure on this option. Thanks
@@nitetrain7136 I know that some of the customised 18650s only fully function in certain lights for instance the warrior mini light and perun light will power all of the rechargeable 18650 olights. The s2r 2 will power the warrior mini at full power but not the perun. The 21700 work fine, the strange thing is that the warrior turbo has a bigger battery than the perun 2 even though it’s max lumen output is only 1,100 v 2500 on the perun. 🧐
Ordered the orange one early, Been waiting for this version with the 21700 cell, looking at the specs I was disappointed it came with the 4,000 mAh cell. I'm wondering what the reason is behind that? I hope you're correct about being able to use the 5,000 mAh cell, wish that is what it came with! Nice review keep up the good work!
Where did you get your 5000 cell from as I have this exact light and how much? What’s the 21700 another guy mentioned? I see it’s used for a certain Olight But not sure if he means the light would have to be built differently? Thanks
I just went out with mine for over a couple hours and you forget it’s even on your head lol. It was on top of my winter hat. Get one You won’t be dissapointed. You’ll really like it. Lots of flood, far throw, lights up the woods. Has a neat vibration function when the battery is getting to a certain %.
@@Luca-ox6nf to me its the other way around. CW blends all the colors and details into a muddy blueish hue. it also messes up depth perception. NW significantly improves the recreation of the colors and details and does not hinder depth perception. NW to WW doesn't hurt my eyes nearly as bad as CW. i also perceive more light with WW and NW over CW. i remember my mom thought i was crazy until i changed her 5000K daylight bulbs to same lumen 2700K bulbs at which point she gave me the face of "ok you where right, but im not gonna say it". high performance CW is cheaper to make and is a little more efficient. NW can end up looking green if something is off in production or its craptastic chineseium. i know olight had some issues early on about their NW looking green.
@@carls.6746 yes i totally agree with you but i think you didndt understand my answer right. nw does make the colors much more realistic but cw LOOKS like it is brighter when it is actually not. with a cw led you seem to be able to see further and better. ...buuut i too think olight should make it optional if you want cool white or natural white.. :D
The fail point with be the rubber that holds it. What are they thinking using rubber to hold it. Water test was a joke that splashing around proved nothing. Olight knock this headlamp out of the park. Love the color and the head mount. Can’t wait to get my order in. Thanks brother for the review. Blessings
Excellent light, great review, thanks for going through the specs in Imperial as well as metric.

I rather like that the base is flat and not like the warrior mini. It really helps with sticking at a 90° on a metal surface
Great video with great detail.
I think they might make this in titanium soon
That would be sexy , ok I'm sad. 😆
Good video I like the upgrades
awesome job like always!
Thank you, much more coming!!!
Thanks for sharing great video
Bought mine last and going through its first winter.😎
Hoping to get the Orange Bundle when the regular BF sale starts 11/25/2020. Thanks for the review.

Nice light!
Good review. I just disagree with 1 thing. There would be no point in having a tail switch since it's a right angle light

Can you clip it to the side of the bill of your had for a hat headlamp?
Nice video. I’ll be getting this. This will be an absolute monster with the 5000mah batteries 😀.
Why wouldn’t Olight put the 5000’s in these or the 21700 that someone mentioned a few comments above? Thanks
@@nitetrain7136 I’m not sure, the 5000 mah and 4000 mah weigh the same so it’s not a weight issue.

I noticed that this light is light sits pretty heavy at 160 grams. Would I be feeling that carrying that on my head the whole night?

Does it have a low battery indicator?
No. The perun 2 mini does
What was wrong with the h1ar nova line? Is this just an excuse to sell us more h1R novas?
Olight it's not your ordinary company, Olight is an innovating leader, They're coming out with new products constantly

if only it was NW
100% agree, why Olight doesn't I do not know. Perhaps cost?
All the H2R NW have been sold, but there is still stock of the CW.

I think it's because the cw looks brighter than nw
