Animations back then were crude... But they had soul. Every single scene of an animation movie had to be hand-drawn before it could be animated, so every piece was unique in it's own way. A quality we've been progressingly losing. Animation became a lot easier and can be done today using only computer programs, but they also tend to lose the uniqueness that made old animations so charming. Of course, we still have very nice animations even today, but these quality pieces have become the exception while they used to be the rule (looking especially in Disney's way with this one).

It's nice to see Mad God, Perfect Blue, Paprika, Iron Giant, Rango, Ghost in the Shell, and so much more all get mentioned, I went looking for a list of movies because the range looks so good. I also love your editing, the cuts were all so crisp and it really flowed along with the music. This was so fucking cool, I loved it. Thanks for putting it up!!!!!
