I am crocheting a HD crochet blanket and will refer to this video while I crochet it. Some say to skip the first stitch after turning and some say do not skip the stitch. I get so confused when I hear different ways. Again, thank you.

Hello Mam I have recently started crocheting I know how to do chain stitch and single crochet right now while watching I was trying to learn half double crochet I actually understood the method but it's still not coming properly maybe I will learn in some time I am eight standard next month we are having exhibition in our school so I am in it and our teacher had told our group to make Jewelleries by crocheting so I am learning. It's actually fun 😅
