Your very first tip of knowing the purpose for the laptop you're buying is on point talaga. Most of the time people buy the specs na di nila need, or need pala nila ang ganitong feature only to realize na di sya available sa laptop nila. Cheers to that mga sir! In addition I have some insights as well as a student exposed to IT. 1. Don't buy Celeron/Pentium laptops. This is an utter waste of money. Imagine mo gagastos ka ng worth 20-25k only to experience unforgivable sluggishness in a few months of use. Mapa high school or elementary man yan I don't recommend buying such specifications. I know that this will sound counterintuitive pero I advise na magpatulong ka sa isang friend na maalam sa laptops para bumili ng second hand. Older generation i5 or i7 laptops cost as much, but will surely give the performance if you're on a tight budget. Of course if you are looking in the brand new market, i5 and i7 or ryzen 5 and 7 is the best processor to choose. 2. Don't buy 4gb ram laptops. As expensive as 30-35k and nagbebenta pa rin sila ng ganitong spec sad to say. Unang una sa mga matatakaw sa RAM is Google Chrome and yun pa ang madalas nating ginagamit. Magtataka sila bakit after opening few tabs lag na ang laptop nila. Sometimes their laptop has decent specs (i3, i5) pero gusto na nilang palitan. The true problem is they just need to get a ram upgrade. Karamihan sa atin ay ginagamit ang laptops for office work, and this kind of workflow doesn't really need a super strong processor (unless you make videos and stuff). All you need is at least 8gb of ram and you're good to go. 3. Brands. I don't really have a preferred brand. Performance varies per laptop model anyway. But brands are good bases for extra features which might or might not be beneficial. For instance, Lenovo's Thinkpad lineup has the best keyboards a laptop can ever have. Kung madalas kang magtype, magiging enjoyable ang experience mo if you own a Thinkpad (not sponsored). Yun lang naman ang maisshare ko, hope to see more content like this one as I believe laptops are valuable investments that may affect our study or work performance in the long run.
wow thanks sir! Problem ko ngayon ay yung graphics card haha Bumili kasi ako ng Prebuild PC and need ko na lang ng graphics card :( NAGSIPAGMAHALAN LAHAT HUHU
