• Stevie Ray Vaughan - T...
Today, we are back checking out some more Stevie Ray Vaughan, with a live performance of the tune Tin Pan Alley! This one was such an engaging and emotional performance in both the vocal and the guitar. Such an amazing synergy between them and really showed off how good of a singer and player SRV really was! Hope you enjoy this as much as I did! #reaction #srv #stevierayvaughan #blues #tinpanalley #bluesguitar #texasblues #guitar #guitarsolo #guitarist #musicreactions

Man that was an incredible performance! He really is an incredible singer alongside being a guitar legend!
Ya'll should see Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland. I think its the best redision I ever heard. ❤❤❤❤
💙💙💙💙💙🙏🏻🙏🏻🔥🔥
Thanks for the suggestion and hanging out!
@@setonhillstudios You need to see that video with Johnny Copeland. Visually entertaining and Stevie’s strumming will drop your jaw.
I agree!! His performance with Johnny Copeland is a MASTERPIECE!!
Another HUGE vote for this one. It's maybe the best live performance I've ever seen, certainly the best collaborative performance between two artists who hadn't ever played together.
It was a true story. He went donw to Tin Pan Alley when he was 17 and was almost beat to death. The Tin Pan Alley I am referin' to is North west of Dallas. The other one is in New York City. The best version of this song is with Johnny Copeland. Ya'll should check that one out. ❤❤
???? It’s a cover of James Reed’s song. Now perhaps there are some similar life experiences that relate to the song, but let’s be clear.

@@bluesatsunCorrect! Stevie didn’t write this, but he sho did make it his own!❤
@@Donnagilbert6497 understand……. But facts matter.
@@bluesatsun Correcto! I was surprised by someone saying he wrote it as well!
The Capitol performance of "Ain't Gonna N Give Up on Love" is his songwriting, singing, delivery (solo) Blues Masterpiece.
So moving.
LOVE SRV. He and his guitar meld and become one. No one will ever be like him. 💔
Such a beast! Thanks so much for watching!
Life Without You from rhis show is a must watch. Stevie switches guitars, loses a thooth and has an inspiring message for everyone to live by.
Wow! That sounds like a wild ride! Thanks for the info and swinging by the channel!
Bro, SRV was THE G.O.A.T
He never played any song the same way twice.
Every performance was unique
The one with Johnny Copeland is probably the best on RUclips.
RIP: SRV 💔🔥🎸U R Missed
Here's a link to another "full' performance of this same song, if interested. "Stevie Ray Vaughan - Tin Pan Alley (with Johnny Copeland)" (by the channel: Rene Michaelis) --And in this particular performance, SRV rips into this gob-smacking solo that leaves all of our jaws on the floor... which is another very good reason to check it out. (IMhO) I enjoyed rocking with you and thanks for sharing. peace out~
Thanks so much for stopping by and hanging out! I definitely have to check this version out as a few other people have recommended it! Have a great one!
Stevie was an a** kicker on guitar 🎸
No doubt about it! Unreal!
He onece was asked how he decribes his style of playin' Stevie said with a big smile. My style of playin' is like Breakin' putta jail. Everybody cracked up laughin'.
Check out the version with Johnny Copeland. You won’t be disappointed.
Thanks so much! Have a great one!
After a local blues festival Stevie starred in, he came downtown to a late club in my town and his band got up and jammed. It was a packed house of about 300. He had every knob on that 100 watt twin fill on. Treble, middle, bass, presence and volume.
I bet that was just a wall of sound!
If I can tempt you to do a reaction to the Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland...because I'm rather desperate to hear your comments on it (there's SO much to comment on). It's such a wonderful example of a "perfect gig night" where everything is falling into place and it's all just feel.
Fender Strat. ❤❤
👏🙌👌loved your reaction💙🎶🎸. And yes, Stevie never played the same song the same way as he was always in the moment. As good as this version is the epic performance of this is from Montreux Switzerland featuring Johnny Copeland another Texas Bluesman. It was a magical night and the whole band were grooving so smoothly. You will see him playing on the neck like you have never seen anyone play💯. Well worth an eventual look to see for yourself the huge differences that can be found for the same song. Also recommend checking out one of Stevie's originals from the Capitol Theatre called "Ain't Gone N Give Up On Love"💙. Subbing for more Stevie Ray🎸🎶💙💯‼️
Thanks so much for the sub and all the insight! He is just a LEGEND! 🎸
@@setonhillstudios Truth💯‼️🎸🎶💙
First 'Like', and I haven't even watched it yet!!!
The guitar was a custom built Hamiltone.
Even the peep through the door line. He plays what sounds like someone tiptoeing
Check out his version of Tin Pan Alley at the Lorelei festival in Germany or The Montreux Jazz festival… both excellent as well but different.
Thanks so much for the suggestions! Can’t wait to hear more!
While you’re at it, check out life without you at the cotton club, and and at the Capitol theater. To great versions of an excellent Stevie song that was written by Doyle, Brammel Sr.
I like all of his versions but I think that the one at the Lorelei Festival is my favorite....Really can't go wrong with any of them tho!
IMHO Riveria Paradise is his instrumental masterpiece. His foray into jazzy blues. Also, a song he wrote for those who struggle with drugs and alcohol addiction. Something he also had to overcome which he did successfully. ❤❤❤
I’ll have to check that one out!
@@setonhillstudios - The 1989 Austin City Limits version is the best. He is playing clean and is committed to helping others overcome alcoholism and addiction. A true, humble soul we lost too soon. ❤🙏
Such a great guitarist.
Unbelievable player! Just a LEGEND!
@@setonhillstudios Such a horrible end for him, though.
Should've chose the Montreaux version with Johnny Copeland.
Watch every performance he has LIVE
hes the real deal
The thing about this video is that it’s cut short. Stevie does go into a little bit of a solo but Reese on the keyboard sort of takes over it but it’s still really good lol. Never understood why it’s cut short. Only place I’ve seen the full version is during the entire performance video someone uploaded on RUclips
I’m really enjoying your reactions . I love when musicians react to things like this and are able to offer their perspective.
Jamming to this song on the guitar is so much fun too.
Glad you’re enjoying the videos! I bet jamming on this one would be a ton of fun!
Guitar he is playing here was a gift from Billy Gibbons.
So cool!

Loved the reaction, too bad you got that abbreviated performance. Like others have said, the performance with Johnny Copeland is way worth your time
Will definitely have to check that out! Really appreciate it!
He's probably the best 1-4-5 blues 12 bar shuffle lead player that ever existed.
And by the way, I really appreciate the way you speak about Stevie! If you haven’t already checked out “Mary Had a Little Lamb” from the Austin 1989 show, it is FIRE!!🔥

Thanks for the suggestions!
Stevie Ray has a famous brother named Jimmy that's famous but not as much as him. Jimi Vaughn had a big hit called "Tough Enough". Great moving song. He has a better voice than Stevie and plays a good guitar. Hope you play it. You won't be sorry.
I’ll have to check it out!
Everything you described is why I can’t listen to Hendrix, it’s not pleasant to my ears,
To each their own, not gonna get any hate here for not liking or listening to any particular artist!
