I hope Jay finds the fountain of youth, humans need him around for the next 100years showing the world it's historical engineering and design accomplishments
Tonto Gonzales We need someone to take his place!!! I don’t know who is so well versed and takes such good care of his collection. It’s absolutely amazing and one day I hope to be at least half the man he was.
@@josephandreuccetti8043 Doug demuro. it's his son anyways🤣
Well said. I was thinking the same thing .
100 years? - No way enough, just say forever...….
definitely
In the early 70s, I was a GI in Germany. I had a BMW R75/5. Some rich German dude had a Munch. We used to ride together up and down the Neckar river valley. Good times.
You know the beautiful Neckar river valley.
I still have a /5. Great bike.
love
Jays showes
The world has lost its engineering ethos, every day now is only lived for the sake of material betterment .
@@DanaTheInsane at least you know what is good over there
When i was a boy in the 70's I played a card game called Top Trumps... My motorcycle edition included a Munch 4E and you won every single round other than MPG...thank for the great memory
I live my life vicariously through Jay Leno's Garage! Thank you Jay for sharing your love of machines, with the rest of us wingnuts.
What I like about this award winning program Jay Leno's Garage presented by Jay Leno is his laid-back personality and relaxed presentation plus his encyclopedic knowledge of all these motorcycles and automobiles and his will to restore them.
WEAR CYCLECRUZA AT? I WANNA NO, WEAR IZ BRAAP VLOGS AT? DUMMY!
Dave Manthey was a very good friend of ours. He lived in Portage WI and this bike sat in his living room. He also had hundreds of stand up arcade games of which we brought many!!!
very very cool! me being 31 and a mechanic and enthusiast I have never heard of this motorcycle! love this channel. keep the cool educational videos coming jay!
Bar end signals. This tank of a bike was ahead of her time. Absolutely love this bike. It’s extraordinary just to take it all in. And that tank is magical. Every angle is a new thing to look at. One of my favorite uploads from you by far.
Thanks Jay for showing me motorcycles I can't afford! My tongue is hanging out😜
The tank is a work of art.
*Hand hammered tank. Exquisite work. Greetings from sunny, THAILAND. Johnny BikeSanooK! My ride is the KAWASAKI Vulcan 650. Goes like the proverbial "Bat out of Hell!"*
2:37 "Invade Poland" Good one! Have you heard this? German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived in Paris. "Nationality ?" asks the immigration officer. "German", she replies.
"Occupation?" "No, just here for a few days".
First time I ever learned about these bikes was from a Classic Car/Bike magazine about 20 years ago, I always thought it was one of the coolest bikes ever made. Awesome seeing one here :)
Man, I dig every video you put out Jay. Whether it's Euro, domestic, new, old, steam, gas, car truck or motorcycle, it's always great to watch someone with passion about something. Thank you, and keep up the great work.
That is just a beautiful machine I remember reading about them back in the late 60s and just thinking that was the coolest bike ever.
Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane, Jay. I saw Münch bikes moving in Germany and France in the 1970's. Even by today's standards and superbikes it's still a very impressive machine. It struck me as odd at the time because the 4-wheeled engine donor, 1,000cc NSU Prinz, never was an impressive car to me. With its heart transplanted into a motorcycle and opened to 1200cc, it really came to life.
Beautiful motorcycle, great sound! I LOVE old bikes. I bought a 1984 Moto Guzzi V50 Nato (ex-Dutch army) with the original leather bags, invested some Euros and now I am só happy to drive a no-nonsense motorcycle. No computers, sturdy, a very simple dashboard and a beautiful V-twin sound.
"Every time you get on this thing, you just feel like you wanna invade Poland, your know" Lmao Jay!
I agree with you Jay that riding a motorcycle is and should be all about the feel. That is why I like vintage bikes and this one was great. I hate fixing them all the time because I feel like I have 1 80/20 ratio of ride to fix but when you get one riding just right you just feel connected to the machine in a way that a modern motorcycle just doesn't give you. Thanks for the video
Jay just astounds me over and over again with the depth of his collection.
I think old motorcycles are more interesting than old cars. In fact, I think motorcycles in general are more interesting than cars.
Tucsonan Dude u
Tucsonan Dude koo9
I think the same, only that bikes became boring in the 90's and cars were interesting up to the early 2000's. Now they are both boring
yep
when you could see the engine, fantastic machinery
once they started wearing the faux-racing plastic stuff, I lost interest
They are certainly more fun to operate.
Hi, Munch Bikes are still alive. A friend of mine bought the Brand and rebuilds the bikes. Quiet impressive.
These were amazingly different bikes. As an 'Aussie' I remember seeing Bert Floods 'Munch' way back around 1973. It was the hugest bike I hade ever seen. (PS. The bike you showed has Amals....not Bings). GAZ (Melb/Australia)
This is probably a Münch 4, the Mammut (Mammoth) model name came later.
I'm delighted to see this motorcycle featured on Jay Leno's garage.
When I was a teenager living in the UK this was the most awesome motorcycle of them all. I think it is the first of what we might call the modern super-bike with a four cylinder OHC engine.
I remember when everything about it was just stunning. That all alloy rear wheel which Münch designed himself was a marvel. The power output of these seemed totally incredible at that time. They were 1200 cc when I first became aware of them and this increased to 1400 then 1600.
Freidl Münch was a master at castings and so very many parts of this bike were cast. The seat unit, the rear swing-arm, rear wheel, the brakes and other parts. Münch's background was in brake design and that's where his casting experience came from.
That Münch that Jay has is, as he says, a very early one. In fact they looked a bit less hand-made than that one.
I never owned one, it was simply a bike that I lusted after in my youth. However people that had them had excellent experiences with them. That engine came from a small car called the NSU Prinz, which was an excellent small car actually. It was very easy to get spare parts but that was rarely required because the Münch's were extremely reliable. Jay notes that there is very little vibration on his and that is because the engines were built with tremendous care and very well balanced.
I could write loads more about these superb innovative motorcycles but that would be inappropriate for a RUclips comment.
My dad rode this bike once as a young mechanic. He learned at NSU so he was on topic about the engine :-)
Amazing bike, a serious sounding bike as well. First time seeing on of these babies! Thanks Jay!
I remember the little ads in the bike magazines back then for the Munch Mammoth and frankly it looked terrifying to ride! But actually it would not look out of place alongside today's power cruiser bikes.
I've Loved, and Watched motorcycles since '76, and had never heard of a "Munch". Until I visited the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Museum. I was floored of the amount of bikes I seen but never heard of. Then there's Jay. He would, own one!
I sit here overcome with anticipation for this video. This bike has fascinated me my entire life and I have never been able to find all that much info on it. So I am pleasantly surprised to see he tracked one down. Very good.
Man you have got the gig. Who wouldn't love to ride or drive a different vehicle from history every day.
Well done episode!
FANTASTIC! Have you seen Andreas Georgeades? He built at least two Ferrari-engine bikes and even a Honda twin-CBX V12! He used to race a Matchless G-50 back in the day, quite a character.
I saw the Munch Mammoth on "Moto Revue" a French motorcycle magazine when I was 14. The bike was awe inspiring. I thought "how can anyone ride such a heavy and powerful bike !?" By today's standards it looks under powered. Despite that it is one of the most iconic motorcycle that came on the market. It was 1969 a few months before the Honda CB 750 and the Kawasaki 500 Mach I were put on the market....
I like the look and story of this bike more than any other you own Jay , super nice ~mv agusta 920 owner
GamersBar Loving the MV.
its a nice bike , way more power than i need , 2 years later it can still scare me . also naked bikes are much better on the road than supersports (last bike was a 10 zx6r)
Those bikes are very special and that one is in good hands. I met Dave Manthey and his book is a fun read. Super nice guy who had many Mammoths and offered up the keys to us even though he just met us. He said Jay was very good to him when he delivered the bike all the way from Wisconsin (not Iowa) in the back of a station wagon!
We only get this type of thing from Jay. Thank you.
That jacket is the first thing jay has ever worn that could pass as cool
That IS Jay's first jacket!
His helmet is the best there is!
I'd go for his collection of vehicles if I was looking for the coolest thing about him.
Man, when you are as rich as Jay, you do not need to worry whether people think you are cool. People give you cool stuff free just begging for you to wear it or use it in public. You're the one eating free at great restaurants. People are asking you for your autograph wherever you go. You're the one driving the priceless Ferrari and they're the ones peeing themselves over it at the stoplight.
Bottom line, if you had half the bizatchin' cars Jay has, you could wear your underwear on the outside and still be cooler than 99% of people on earth. And he lets' us SEE 'em! That's cool if you ask me.
How do you magna flux a magnesium wheel?
I wish Jay had shown the transmission, how it mounts /driven . Just so much more to learn about the bike. You can see how much influence it had on bikes built after ,CB 750, Kawasaki 900 ect..
Access ports for valve adjustment ,so many good things about that bike that made every bike built after better, the guy was a genius . You could build that bike today as the ultimate touring bike.
Brit right? Always on about well it make ,,,blablab hp per liter and it's only 80 cc.
You can't magnaflux magnesium but you can Zyglo it. Almost as good. But even good magnesium isn't that good; it's brittle stuff at best.
great story, fantastic upkeep, a bit noisy for the mike but all & all you can feel the love for this rare old beauty. Thank you Jay. Keep em coming!
if its too loud, then you're too old.
Geez, I love the way it looks. Steampunks dream.
I had forgotten all about the "Munch". I remember as a kid seeing the adds and articles. Thanks for the memories Mate.
The dual headlight is pretty cool on this bike
I remember seeing one of these at the Rock Store in the Santa Monica mountains years ago, probably early 80's when I lived in Calabasas, CA. It's a beast, and was way exotic, especially before all the Japanese 4-cyl motorcycles came along.
Cool bike. I love the tank.
The thing that amazes me the most about this bike is the fact that there's no vibration in the mirror. German built quality and attention to detail must've been a priority considering this bike was built in the 60's. The NSU TT engine sounds smooth too.
The Munch Mammut 2000 is a beast
As a teenager in the 60's I remember when Friedl Munch launched this bike on an unsuspecting motorcycling public - it had a similar impact to when McDonalds launched the Whopper. What a machine!- it made the competition look lightweight and Wimpy. RIP Friedl.
The headlight also come from the NSU Prinz.
Headlight bezel, you mean. The headlight itself is a standard sealed beam!
Sealed beams would fit but why would you ?they're not as good Running Globes except underwater . Munch Ran the NSU TT headlamp assembly Globes and all
Headlight bezel was the same that the ones on the NSU 1000 TTS.
Many people don't know that NSU stands for Neckarsulm. That is the town that the AUDI plant is located at. I grew up there. My sister still lives there and works at AUDI.
Neckarsulmer Streichmaschinen Union. The company originally produced weaving machines before making motorcycles, mopeds and small cars. They developped the Wankel rotary engine. The company was owned by Auto-Union and the brand NSU does not exists anymore since it was included in the VAG group (VW,Audi).
i love when you review motorcycles,
I like the hand beaten tank, it gives it a nice texture and the way the light reflects of it is unique
please do some more of these rare car n bikes video
Wow Jay, I've never seen this treasure fro your collection or ever heard of the Munch Mammouth! Thanks for sharing it with us!
That's one hell of a nice sounding bike
There was a guy that brought one of those to the Texas Hill Country Rally and campout in Marble Falls TX back in the early 1970's, I had read about it so I was really delighted to see one in person. It was huge in comparison to my BMW R75/6, a really neat bike. I have a photo of it in my PBase gallery, the gallery is John Owens and its on the first page of Assorted Images. Thanks to Jay for making this video about this interesting old bike.
Remember when OCC Teutels made Jay a retro based chopper? Its in the bin behind the shop.
No, he auctioned it off for charity. Choppers are just not for Jay.
Jay said "Tootles" to the Teutel! LOL
1st l ever heard of these was 8th grade science class in Huntsville Al (1968)...Joey Mann had a motorcycle magazine we passed around when the teacher wasn't looking...l couldn't believe the 2 headlights & 4 exhaust pipes...the seat looked different too...l think the article was titled "Munich Munch?"...good video...finally got to hear what 1 sounds like...
"this has the BINGs on it" The AMAL symbol is clearly seen.
vector6977 thank you. I was looking for that
@@andrewbrabank3087 wrong carbs - not original - so the bike's worth is diminished in spite of the no#2 frame !
Amal concentrics.
Amals are cooler than bing though
Ah, the Bing carburettor. My first motor vehicle was a Finnish made tunturi tiger moped, that I got new in 1986. It had a Bing carb on a puch engine. Oh the memories.
Suomi-Finland: Jawa, Husqvarna, Puch and some "Beeh Emm Veeh" Motorrad, too,
COOL 1966 Munch Mammouth - Jay Leno's Garage
I understood less than half of what he said while was riding. It really didn't take anything away from the video for me, though. The truth is that this is a noisy machine. An air cooled one liter four cylinder is by it's nature a noisy machine. I think it's a work of art. The hand hammered aluminum tank is especially charming.
could we see a full in depth tour of the collection. that would be awesome. thanks
Ellis Warmington, think about how many hours such video would take to watch... Never mind how many weeks it could take to film. Even though I would like to see all that too, just like you do. Maybe Jay Leno might be interested in gathering all that in depth information about each machine into a show split in parts, part 1,2,3,4,5 and on and on..... Well, who knows maybe he might. If not we can just go back and watch the old collection of videos. Thank you for your comment.

Louis Berroa he could just talk about the interesting ones
Baron Von Munchausen rode one!
There's much much more on this bike than any biker may know:
Honda got inspired by this bike to build the CB750 four and that one was the bike that started bikes to establish as powerful and mean, it helped to transform bikes from "old and poor guys transporters" to "young, mean powerful guys weapon".
Many bike producers stopped production in these days including NSU and many were about to. People wanted to drive car not bike.
Then with the CB 750 (inspired by Munch) this idea of biking was born.
Without the Munch and the CB 750 there would not be any big bikes anymore in these days.
Even Indian had stopped, they were once bigger than HD.
A very interesting bike and history! Great video, thanks Jay. (please consider a Moto Guzzi episode with the old VS new version of the Eldorado)
Love the contour of the twin headlights and the tank. Some engineering 👌
I wonder what the right side of the motorcycle looks like?
bigDbigDbigD Now that you mention it... yeah! lol
bigDbigDbigD beat up he dumped it making a corner filming and they had to reshoot the video.
bigDbigDbigD
need to know basis...
bigDbigDbigD 3:18 That's all you get!
1:21 is the best I recall...and then 2:10
Of all the great bikes that Jay has the only one I really want and have wanted all my life is the Munch Mammouth. I met Friedel Munch years ago at one of Perry's (BMW of Fort Worth) picnics. He was an interesting man.
suggestion, can you please put SUBTITLES on during the ride?
Hard to hear you at times Jay :/
or use better mic
If you have been a subscriber since from the beginning, that is a *BUILT IN UN-DELETABLE/ UN-FIXABLE FEATURE* of this channel. If you want great audio, go watch his *PAID TV* programs.
^ but it doesn't have to be shitty like that. Decent hardware is very cheap these days.
Roman Pyasetskyy The guy is a gazillionaire. Like he cares for you and me to have more comfortable hearing levels? hahah.
Good. I prefer the sound of the bike during the ride. Thanks goodness there's no music in the background. This show is about vehicles and engines. When in the garage, talking is okay. But during ride, who cares what the guy is talking about :) I'd give opposite suggestion. Bring up the volume of the engine so that I don't have to hear anybody yapping during the exhilarating ride on the 1000cc motorcycle.
Hi Jay....a message from a biker like you ! Please do not forget your gloves ..
Beautiful machine !
Congratulations for your presentations, so interesting !
Cheers from Paris
The Headlight are from NSU Prinz TT - like the Engine. Many greets from Germany 😂👌 de.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSU_TT
My das used to have an NSU and tuned the engine. He still has pictures of it. The engine look is uncanny.
I made this comment later too. I scrolled down to saw yours and I deleted mine. We didn't see many NSU cars other than the futuristic Ro 80 here. I've always been so impressed by this marque. Greetings from Australia.
Jay: I tried to purchase a new Mammoth in 1969 but could not find one. Instead, I purchased another unusual large English bike, a Royal Enfield Interceptor 750. It cost me a substantial $1495. A Bonnie or Norton could be had discounted for only about $1150. The difference in price was substantial back then. But the monster engine, the Norton 'Isolastic' front end new for 1969, the neutral finder feature and the GORGEOUS tear shaped full chrome fuel tank was worth every penny!
My Bonnie and Norton riding pals quickly noticed that the engine was a 'stressed member' of the frame. The group always tried to find the most sever pot holes in the road hoping that my Interceptor engine would 'crack in half!' Of course, it was immensely stronger than a regular English frame. The Interceptor bike took me back and forth without any problems to college for 3 years.
Awesome machine😊
Womanwolfrider He's got a superb collection. Some real classics.
I know and he's a real down to earth petrol head too
Womanwolfrider It's a really interesting bike.
There is something beautiful about its functionality.
Salut! Small tip since I hear this alot on RUclips videos, including WW2 documentaries: W in German is always read as the V in English and other languages. e.g., Volkswagen is read Folksvagen (V as a first letter is read F), Luftwaffe is read Luftvaffe, Wolfgang is Volfgang, and so on ,-)
@Leonard Carr , I would not say that most Romanians idolize Germany. It is a complicated topic and it has to do with what happened historically, especially with the 2 largest terrestrial armed forces - Germany and Russia. Romania was caught in the middle in both world wars, and it could rely on it's traditional allies in WW1, but it had to rely on Germany in WW2. Romania's main interest was territorial integrity, reuniting all historic regions into the Great Romania (România Mare).
Unfortunately the geographical placement of Romania puts it at a dangerous crossroads between the great military powers, one of them being for the past century the USSR/Russian Federation. During WW1, the Russians were our allies(and the Austro-Hungarian-Germans our enemies), but they got caught in their bolșevic revolution and abandoned the front disorganized, and they did whatever they wanted in their retreat (stealing, raping, killing) - little Romanian love for the Russians because of this. During WW2 Romania was again caught between Nazi Germany and the USSR, the traditional allies (France and Britain) had no way of helping us. Keeping in mind what the Russians did in WW1 and the fact that they occupied Moldavia (Basarabia) made the choice somewhat simpler - ally with Germany so that we get back our land from the Russians. The Germans treated Romanians with respect, they bought things from peasants, and did not recur to stealing or actions the Romanians were used to see from the Russians - I have stories from my grandma and I heard similar stories from other people's grandparents.
This does not mean that the majority of Romanians supported Nazi Germany and their racial philosophy, but they rather preferred someone who treated them with respect and could guarantee their territorial unity than being left at the hands of the USSR. Moreover, there was a significant German community in Romania, it decreased hugely during the communist regime, AND the first king of Romania had German roots (Prince Karl of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen). Under his ruling the beginning of an independent Romania started, no longer a vassal to the Ottoman Empire.
Furthermore, the current president of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, is from „comunitatea săsească” aka „the saș community” which has German roots (Sachsen in German).
I hope this sheds some light on this subject.
That is freaking awesome.
I remember this bike from my Observer's Book Of Motorcycles, from the early 70s!!
Nice bike, built for the long haul, that is vat Germans do!!!
A first for me. Thanks for sharing this rare oddity. Makes a noise going down the road. Definitely unique noise to this bike. Strange beast!
Two keys, yes it's truly German!
I'm not very interested in a show about motorcycles but I clicked on this and gave it a try anyway. Jay is so interesting that I enjoyed every second of this show and can't wait to watch more. Fascinating!
that's badass awesome
For some years I owned and ran a Web site called "The European Motorcycle Universe" (Sheldon's EMU) and over all those years the one motorcycle that I received the most questions about was the Munch Mammoth. At first I thought it was the ugliest, strangest motorcycle of any produced but with time it grew on me and I'd only wish I'd had the chance to ride, or own, one. Thanks for posting this video Jay!
two thumbs up
SimplySam NO! Two THUMPS up!
SimplySam so you unliked it?
WOW ! Jay Leno never ceases to amaze me ! Miss your late night show Jay :)
Man, No Gloves Jay? Ready to eat the pavement like a boss huh:) At least get some good leather gloves on when you ride!
Acc0rd79 , yes, I was thinking the exact same thing. In addition to hitting the pavement, the more likely event of a rock, or bug hitting your hands will hurt without gloves.
If he drops this bike I'll bet his hands are the last thing on his mind !!!!!
simbared These these youngins are all about safety, they want to live forever.
40mmrrsmith Pretty sure Queen isn't young and they want to live forever!
I do remember seeing the Munch Mammoth in cycle magazines back in the day. They were the ne plus ultra of motorcycles, the use of a four cylinder automobile engine was completely outrageous. I had forgotten that they used an NSU engine. That jogged my memory of my high school senior year when my father had purchased an NSU motorcycle. It was a 250 cc single cylinder German commute bike with very deep fenders and an enclosed chain. It had overhead valves and a camshaft that was driven in an unusual manner. There was an eccentric on the crankshaft and another on the end of the camshaft and a connecting rod in a housing alongside the cylinder head transmitted power from the crank to the camshaft. It was a nearly indestructible design and would last as long as the engine itself, unlike a chain drive. I remember removing the muffler and blasting up Mt. Hamilton Road in the Diablo Range east of San Jose, CA. One time I was returning to my father's apartment coming off the Bayshore Freeway (U.S. 101) and hit a patch of oil on the off ramp. I went down and slid along the asphalt, spraining my wrist and putting a few gouges in my helmet. The bike hit a curb and flipped over, putting a big dent in the headlight housing. It didn't damage the bike so that it was unusable (I picked it up and rode it the rest of the way back) but I felt badly about the cosmetic damage.
$4000 in 66 is almost $30,000 today adjusted.
It would be even more considering how much his high end auto parts or hand made and hand tooled, the Arch motorcycle prices probably give a better example.
Once in a while you see one on the market. Up to 80.000 dollars.
Back in 1974 I had a BMW R75 and belonged to the BMW Owners of America club. I went to a rally and there was a guy that had one with the weber carbs. I thought the bike was way ahead of the competition at the time. Since then I'd describe the bike to my friends and not one ever heard of the Munch. Way cool that Jay has one and appreciates it. Sure would love to visit Jay's garage and just spend time marveling at the ingenuity of the craftsmen that built the machines he has. Mostly unsung hero's those craftsmen were. IMO anyway.
lol, it's "Muench," not "Munch." Mooen'k. Munch on that.
It always surprises me that a petrolhead like Jay doesn't bother about the correct pronunciation of manufacturer's names. He talks about 'BugAHti', not 'BugATTi' (short 'a') and 'JagWAH', not 'Jag-u-ar' (although i guess the latter is just the way Americans generally pronounce that animal's name).
+Shane Norman Let's not even get started on "Porsssh." Oh, wait. I just did. Well, he actually says Porsché half the time.
remember the chrysler turbin? (turbine)
Also a bit sad they didn't even bother to write Münch correct in the title.
Some people get so uppity about the most minute things, who cares how he pronounces words? Worry about yourself, ya savages.
That motorcycle Muenches the miles. In a Mammoth way. Thanks, Jay!
iI am confused. 'Bing' carbs ? They look like Amals to me.
they are AMALS!
kllrjo yes. they sure are. i have never noticed Jay making a mistake before. Being wrong.. WHOOPS ! Nyuk nyuk nyuk whoo boo boo booboo..bOiNk Jab OWW !
+kllrjo and +gregory mahaits
Before you two smart asses get too hyped (especially greg on airplane model glue), have you considered that the carbs are amals built under license in Germany? BMW fitted Bing, so it would have logical for Munch to use them. Really, it's not that difficult today to do a little research, but that would take time away from posting uninformed, knee-jerk responses.
Have a nice, fact-confused day.
Ian Findlay they are STILL Amals ! bOnK !
An AMAL by any other name is STILL a bloody AMAL! My Bultaco`s ALL have Spanish made AMAL`s! SO does my Montesa.
"Really, it's not that difficult today to do a little research, but that would take time away from posting uninformed, knee-jerk responses.
Have a nice, fact-confused day."
Izzat so? well take a GOOD LOOK at .30 secs into the video where the carbs are CLEARLY marked as AMALS! So, Ian Findly, take yer own advice and watch the fricken video before you start making "knee jerk" accusations against your betters!
nyuk,nyuk,nyuk!
I saw one in my neighborhood when I was 16 in TULSA. I was already competing on OSSAs. Got to talk to the owner! He couldn't have been more cool telllingme all about it. To me it was HUGE well, because it was! At about the same time I was introduced to DUCATI DESMO. A single and was educated about the bevel gear system running the cam. OHC.
10:15 "And it's been pretty good, actually; haven't habble nazble fler..."
That's what I say!
Aw, give the guy a break, that's a LOUD bike!
Seth Tyrssen b
Kelli Halliburton lol! 😂👍
That boot, though, lookin' good haha. Jay, thank you so much for your time in doing this video. Always a pleasure to watch. Huge fan from Saudi Arabia!
WTF NO GLOVES JAY???? You do realise your hands are the first thing to hit the road if you come off right??
I went down in California after being hit, I had gloves on and it rubbed part of my lower palm to the bone, and I had gloves on. I wonder how much worse it would be if I dident have the gloves. I wish I still had them, they had a huge hole in them.
I was in my early twenties when this bike was first produced and I remember it well. Of course that "horrendous" $4K price tag was far beyond my reach. Thanks for the memories, Jay.
lol. like you wanna invade poland.... A haha haha hahaha, nice 1 jay!
+J.P. Craven no, I think jay is. mein kommendante.
it´s funny. that´s what it is.
+rahowhero X did a panzer crush your funny bone lol
+J.P. Craven it was a joke a hole so take your outrage and shove it up your autobahn. :-)
J.P. Craven im Polish and i found it funny :)
He definitely needs to find a Mammut 2000...it was a Münch built in the early 2000s...an absolute beast of a motorcycle.

What a mean machine. You could hear it talking when you cracked the throttle, Jay take me for a ride, take me for a ride. Thanks Jay wicked bike.
I could see Arnold owning this
Arnold is austrian though...
As was Mozart
What's your problem with it, jew?
No problem it looks his style, tough
Edslittleworld Who are you talking to
Amazing! I first heard about these over forty years ago, but this is the first time I've actually seen one run. The old motorcycle books I've got would go on about how insanely powerful they were. Jay, why don't you put it on a dyno, when you get the rear wheel checked out? It would be neat to see how much power and torque it actually has.
8:11 😂 "JAWOHL" it means something like "JES SIR"
*Yes^^
ja voll... dude how ignorant are you? have you not played call of duty 2?
don trump no i haven't but he says "jawohl" and not "ja voll" are you german?
@don trump.....Obviously NOT as ignorant as you imbecile. Ja-wohl would be correct. In German the "w" is pronounced as a v & the "v" is pronounced as an f. So VW is pronounced fow-vey. Schafseckel!
bhaggen was ist den mit dir 😂
Man, I was Ride'n Hard back in '66. And, I have to say, I NEVER Heard of these before today. I like the '58- '59' '60 style headlight too, its cool as can be. It very cool to see this even as 0ld as I am.
