Minecraft Story Mode was such a huge part of my childhood. I'm so glad the community is coming together for this fan remake. It looks absolutely beautiful and what's better is the trailer used a fan mcsm song my TryHardNynja (which hit me in the feels as that song is also mega nostalgic)
I’m incredibly happy someone decided to do something like this. Story Mode was one of those games from my childhood made by a legendary company that unfortunately isn’t around much anymore or gone due to the shutdown. A company that made beautiful art like TWD. It was sad to hear the Story Mode got removed and the original vision of what the game was is gone since it was a choice driven game and RUclips dosen’t give that feel in anyway with cutscenes and gameplay. Tgis is definitely much better than the film
The eldritch mosntrosity you saw at the end of the trailer with the purple laser beams is the Wither Storm, an eldritch being capable of mass destruction and ending the world by consuming blocks, growing in mass. It has the same recipe as a Wither, but the middle soul sand block is replaced with a command block. It starts out as a normal Wither with a command block in its ribs, but eventually grows into basically an unstoppable beast. Those purple beams from each eye are called tractor beams, which also suck up blocks as well as mobs. It's implied in episode 4 of Minecraft Story Mode season 1 that the Wither Storm reduced large amounts of land to bedrock, basically saying this thing is a world eater.
as part of the production crew for this upcoming series and as a fan of the animation on its own i genuinely cannot wait to watch this when it comes out LOL
My guy you need to play Minecraft story mode. It’s not great, especially in episodes 2, 5, and 8 in my own personal opinion, but it’s still a really enjoyable game all the way through. Season 2 is where it REALLY improved though.

Why did people hate on Minecraft story mode?! It’s legit the best spin off we’ve had. Dungeons was the second best. Every other spin off has sucked.
