Very interesting video, I have two yixing teapots, I have tasted tea from all over the world, but my favorite is the black pu-erh, as teapots the yixing ones are the prettiest
I just bought a vintage Yixing tea set but it doesn’t look like any of the ones you featured, although I did enjoy hearing the comparisons you showed. My tea set is molded not thrown. It has little silk worms on the leaves. Does Yixing make these types of tea pots too? It came in a box with authentication papers (unfortunately I can’t read them). Any information would be appreciated.
One that always fascinated me was the 东坡提梁壶 Dōngpō tíliáng hú or Dongpo Hoop Handle Teapot since I first saw them in a museum in Chongqing. These have a handle that joins the body of the pot at three points. Could you expound on its history?
Hi fellers , Last night i found this pot in my store room , it came with a fancy red booklet , it says its yixing zisha hu , made by this person called ...江建祥 jiang jianxiang in april 1996 apparently is from jiangsu .... do you know anything about this ? could it be valuable ? oh under the 品名 it says 黑纱古井壶
I once had the image filter on Tumblr label a picture of my Xi Shi teapot as containing nudity 😂
Haha! That's so funny! I guess it really does look like a breast😂.
Very informative if you love yixing teapots
This is the kind of beyond the average tea information I absolutely loved finding ❤
Thanks for the inspiring words! Glad you liked it! 🙏🫖🙏
Very informative and interesting explanation on Chinese teapots ❤
Thank you for your detailed explanation. My uncle left me with some items and I'm very appreciative of you sharing your knowledge.

Thank you for the video. Great to find such a lovely business in Canada. I will certainly sample your teas in the future.

Duly noted! There could be a episode 2 on teapot shapes. 😊
