- Bhai Sukhwant Singh is a multi -dimensional personality. He achieved great height at a very younger age.He is holder of degree of gyani from Guru Nanak Dev University and did a Missionary course from Shaheed Missionary College(S.G.P.C., Amritsar). His greatest accomplishment is a GOLD MEDAL of Diploma in Gurmat Sangeet from Punjabi University,Patiala.
He is also president of ‘International Gurmat Sangeet Youth Forum’.Besides,being a successful organiser of Gurmat Raag Darbars & Director of many Gurmat Sangeet Academies.His name stands included in the class of Gurmat Sangeet’s great Scholars by his contribution of writing many books & presenting cassettes on Gurmat Sangeet to Sangat.
Ustaad Sukhwant Singh is also an anchor to a renowned programme ‘Raag Rattan’, of T.V Channel - “PUNJAB(U.K)” and 'Raag Naad Shabad Sohney' (Fateh TV). In view of his great contribution and humble services in the field of Gurmat Sangeet.
Beta Rajwinder ji you are a blessed soul of Satguru ji Maharaj otherwise no body can recite this type of kirtan. No word are there by which I can say anything related to this recitation. May Satguru ji bless you.

How can Guru maharaj bless her, if she is not singing in the prescribed raag by the Guru. This kirtan is total disrespect to the Guru.
@@rsseehra72 singing in the prescribed Raag would have been desirable but giving all the importance only to the raags is also against the spirit of gurbani.

@@rsseehra72 there are references in the Gurbani which roughly mean that true devotion isn't about only playing the correct tune/raag but it has to come from within.
@@1234fazermann you are right. But this does not prove that you should exclude the prescribed raag. Why do you think Gurus selected one raag out of sixty for each and every shabad to use it while singing?? What about the respect of this hard work?

@@GurdevSingh-tj3cp its because taksali leadership are biased against women. They have a dated mentality which our Guru's condemned. They believe gurbani is only for men. Lot of people dont know this. They believe women are unclean due to their menstrual cycles. Women have less rights according to taksali's

The maryada is puratan and can never be changed

Puratan maryada that discriminates against women ought to be destroyed. Theres no place for it in the modern day. No one benefits from old ideas. Gurus did Not make this Maryada the nirmalehs did based hindu philosophy from shiv Puran books. So you get your facts right
