You need to use an irrational firing rate like pi, phi, e, or square roots to avoid overlapping firing patterns.
Use the golden ratio as the firing rate lol

Loved this. Is it possible to introduce a variability to when each shot is fired? I.e between every 0.98 and 1.02 seconds so that the guns aren't totally synced? That could make it more interesting.

@Garrett Hager It'd be randomized between 0.98 seconds and 1.02 seconds every time, neither could be accidentally set higher.
@Garrett Hager There's a small chance one might fire quicker but it won't make that much of a difference because it'd be 0.04 at most
@Garrett Hager So? The entirety of the challenge is still based on luck, literally all the challenges are, adding a bit more luck won't change anything.

The final gun was definitely not an upgrade
I would love to see this done again, but reworked so it lasts twice as long...and maybe add in some extras?

You should make the turning angle something relatively prime to 360⁰.
360°/Phi is about 137.5° - that's what plants use to grow petals around their stem with minimum overlap.

Alternative title: nostalgia with diep.io
Upgrades:
Level 1: Basic tank. 0 pierce.
Level 2: adds a 2nd barrel (flank) , doubling firerate to 1 side.
Level 3: turns 2 barrels to one, the bullets are now bouncing, along with more shooting. The bullets have 5 bounce (pierce but how much it bounces instead of phasing)
Level 4: the bullets are now smaller but shoot 2x/3x faster. No bouncing.
Level 5: Turns the barrel to a cannon. Has infinite pierce. No bounce. Is very large at the cost of low firerate.

This should absolutely be an actual multiplayer game. Or the same concept used in a more detailed system: the whole "sending attackers at your opponent by beating attackers" idea.

White won because white wasn't clogged in the inner circle in the machine gun stage so it could occasionally send two marbles whereas green almost only sent one.
