I like how this guy didn't have to bullshit on the title or thumbnail to get clicks. No, "exploring abandoned stadium and almost caught" or stick him talking to a cop in the thumbnail! Just a straight foward video that is this still fun and interesting to watch!
All of those cars were parked there because of the lawsuit against Volkswagen about them lying about how clean their diesel vehicles burned. Since the Silverdome lot was not being used, they just put them there.
That was a great video man, it's crazy how that place looks now. I remember going to games there and now look at it. Thanks for the tour bro but I wouldn't have went into that bathroom lol.
I just now realized that this was the first time I ever saw one of your videos lol! I was sure it was when you were visiting Miami and you were thinking about moving there a year or so ago. I remember seeing this video years ago, but had no idea it was you. This RUclips algorithm is crazy!
I was looking at every possible Image of this abandoned on Google Images. Thankfully I found this on RUclips in my recommendations. Really fascinating! Kinda sad too. Wrestlemania 3 was here in 1987, it was a sold out crowd of 93k people, all these seats were filled. So weird to see it empty, abandoned and now demolished. Amazing stuff dude! Keep up the good work
Yeah, I remember seeing kill bill back in 03' there. The drive in was in the parking lot though, would've been way cooler if it was in the actual dome.
Hey Anton! I Live on the East side, Pretty close to the Silverdome. And after seeing your video a couple months back, I wanted to go so bad and get a glimpse in person of my childhood. But a month or two after this video they started demo and it was never like the way you had seen it, and as of yesterday i'm sure you know they imploded it. You legit have made the VERY LAST video of what the Silverdome was. This video truly means alot to me and brings back so many memories. Thank you so much for exploring it and sharing it with all of us here, I'm forever grateful for I never got to see it in person one last time, and I believe you're the last civilian to see and experience the entire Silverdome structure, and all off the memories it holds.
Dude it is awesome that you had an opportunity to do this before they blew the stadium up. Thank you for allowing the future to see what this stadium looked like before it was destroyed.
Most people remember the Lions, but I went to a Michigan Panthers game there during the brief time that was a thing. Thanks for risking life and bike to show us!
I remember seeing this years ago when you were still a small channel I didn't know you were gonna be much bigger, i was recommended one of your recent videos and realized your channel has blown up since I saw this video.
Anton..When I was a kid, back in the Billy Sim's (AKA The Space Shuttle) the Silverdome was so technically advanced. So sad to see it in it's current state. Great video. Thanks man.
Hey, I found your channel randomly and watched your restaurant video but then saw you road a motorcycle. You just got a new Subscriber sir. I did what your doing in terms of business living a positive life. 🙌🏽 This is the kind of representation i like to see. Sorry to hear about the restaurant closing.
LOL it started to look like a horror movie in the restroom.. "You know it's easy to get in here at night. But it's better to film in the daytime. You know what im sayin?" hahahahhahahaha... it sounded like you scared as fuck.
Let him go a lil north to Flint... Pontiac is not all that bad. Detroit is bad.. but FIint mofo's literally don't care who or what color you are. Shady mofos out there.
I can remember going there as young adults and going to the very top on the catwalk unavailable feeling of smallness in compared to the size of the structure. I have walked the entire building from top to bottom sound intro room players locker rooms everywhere in the building while it was operational before they gave up on it but after the lions left. I have walked that field and done a 360 and it’s unbelievably incredible something that you just can’t replace.
Dang that’s insane! I’m from Flint and really wanna go down there and check out the stadium! I haven’t been there since I was a little kid and don’t remember anything from the stadium. Might at least go down there and fly my drone over and check it out!
The place that drew the all time indoor attendance record of 93.000+ ppl when Hulk Hogan faced Andre The Giant at WM3!! Bigger, Better, Badder! ;) I am not from America and its just quite astonishing to see this stadium in this sate, that held such a high regard for such a long time. Thank you for sharing
those cars are not for sale because of huge VW recall .. they were forced to buy them back from customers. thats were they decided to store them until they destroy them.
Put some gas in one of them and give me a set of keys along with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a little something to smoke and watch me tear some shit up. Need them destroyed? Watch this..........
Yeah, but how are you going to convince the state to let you register the car? What's ridiculous about this is everyone acts like VW committed mass murder. There have been several other brands doing the SAME thing but no media shitstorm over those. GM is doing almost the same thing: money.cnn.com/2017/05/25/news/companies/gm-emissions-cheating/index.html Ford is just as guilty: jalopnik.com/lawsuit-accuses-ford-of-cheating-diesel-emissions-on-50-1821962910 And the "uber-clean" Japanese brand Nissan: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5933035/Nissan-says-exhaust-tests-altered-latest-scandal.html Seems the media have a vendetta against VW so they went all out but ignored what almost everyone else was doing.
Used to go there all the time as a kid. Now, as an adult, I drive by it every day on my commute. Thanks for sharing, this was really interesting and oddly nostalgic.
Too bad you didn't get to go to the dressing room still a great clip! You should do a part two and go all the way to the dressong rooms, that would be so cool!
Interesting to see how the stadium itself is like built into the ground when Anton entered the stadium over the barricade he was at ground level outside but once he was inside he was in the upper tiers and the pitch itself is quite a bit lower.
Good memories from the old Silverdome. I remember watching the Pistons and the Celtics in the 1988 NBA playoffs on TV here in Brazil; in 1990, I was an exchange student in Michigan and watched live the Packers and the Lions play there... then I watched Brazil x Sweden in the 1994 USA FIFA World Cup. Too sad it was abandoned and imploded.
I wasn’t able to travel to Detroit much until the last few years. Back in 2015 I was in Detroit for a friends birthday party and after I figured I would drive by the silver dome. I did and I parked right outside the gates and went to take a picture and my phones camera wouldn’t work because I had dropped it the night before at my friends bday party. So I didn’t get any pictures before it was demolished. All I have is memories. Great video!!
i would of went on the field and just imagined how barry sanders used to run all over it i remember when the browns left cleveland and i became a lions fan because of barry sanders wow that was cool
Anton Daniels just recently they had people steal those cars and replace the vin and sell them at auction in Tennessee I know because I work security there
Nice video, I’m watching this today, after it’s supposed to be demolished. I’m from Coldwater Michigan about 2 hours away from there but those Barry Sanders memories fade back into my memory🙃
I just had this video suggested to me, from watching a video of a Pink Floyd concert that took place in that stadium back in 1994, lol. It's actually really sad seeing how full and lively the Silverdome was back then, and thinking about all the historic football games, concerts, etc. that took place right there...but then coming across THIS video, and seeing the stadium in utter ruins :/ I heard it was finally completely demolished a year or so ago. Either way, AWESOME video, Anton! I always enjoy watching these kinds of exploration videos. Have a great New Year!

Anton Daniels, how much water was in there? I forgot about the water, but I did hear you say something about it. It was hard to see it in the video But F that even if it was a couple inches, I wouldn't get in it either!! Props for going in there as well! It was cool to see! I just would like to have seen the locker rooms, no way if you had to wade through water!
It must be wild standing where legendary moments in NFL history took place, this was once a roaring stadium full of fans and some of the most elite athletes in the world at the time. Anyway awesome video man you earned a new viewer. 👍🏻
Amazing video man! I myself live 15 mins from the Silverdome and drove past numerous times trying to find a way in but never could bring myself to do it, now it’s to late seeing as how they just blew it up. I’ll miss that building
This is sad. I'm just 14, but I've been hearing a lot about this stadium. I did some research on it, and found out the stadium you were standing in had some historical moments. The parking lot is massive, and the stadium itself look likes it's as long as my street! Some NFL teams don't have the money get a good stadium, maybe a nearby team could've used it? All in all, I'm disappointed in the Lions for abandoning it. Stadium could've been even better with some renovations, but now all you can do is just see it get worse day by day.
Moses Devadass thanks for the comment! At this point they are in the early process of demolishing the stadium and I'm not sure what will be built on the land now. I'll keep everyone updated as I find out though 😉
Balls of steel! Would bet you were not the only person in there, I would of whimped out at the jump down from the entrance. Any how, great vid, enjoyed watching.
Anton Daniels Nah they'll be moved to another country where they can be sold or they'll be repaired to be sold here. The cars basically only need a software update.
I like how this guy didn't have to bullshit on the title or thumbnail to get clicks. No, "exploring abandoned stadium and almost caught" or stick him talking to a cop in the thumbnail! Just a straight foward video that is this still fun and interesting to watch!

Ryan Smith thanks for the support
Every video i watch your in the comments

Wow this where they had Wrestlemania 3 which was a big part of my childhood!! Sad that it is no longer.. thx bro!
It’s forever memorialized here
Right? Me too! This was awesome to watch.
Wrestlemania 3 was the event the made me fall in love with wrestling
Too bad Wrestlemania doesn't go the same way as the abandoned Silverdome
Cool.
What's Inside? Thanks friend
What's Inside? Hey I love u guys
woah now way
Hi
What's inside the Pontiac Silverdome?
This is such a classic I rewatch a few times a year. Also an unrepeatable piece of history since it’s long gone now
Awesome!
Abandoned Exploration Squad 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
All of those cars were parked there because of the lawsuit against Volkswagen about them lying about how clean their diesel vehicles burned. Since the Silverdome lot was not being used, they just put them there.
Anton Daniels what kind of bike do you have
Jackie Murphy Honda CBR650F
Abandoned Exploration Squad hey look it's you
That was a great video man, it's crazy how that place looks now. I remember going to games there and now look at it. Thanks for the tour bro but I wouldn't have went into that bathroom lol.
Sub Zero 😂😂😂
Glad you enjoyed it. I do it for you!
Great video!!! Nice to see this before they tear it down.
ConnorTV yup, they are tearing it down now
:(
+Huub Huijbens what’s wrong?!
Anton Daniels and it didnt come down lol
It is unkillable
i just keep visualising hulk hogan slamming andre the giant right there!
Matt Guy so awesome
Anton Daniels awesome to see how you got into the dome too, cool vid!
Matt Guy thanks... no secrets here with me bro. What I know, you'll know
I'm from Pontiac and lived right up the street from it. Great memories....
Come see me at the restaurant
@@AntonDaniels When I come in town I'll definitely come check it out!!!

They had so many cool events there then I remember they turned it into a roller rink and a movie theater or something like that
Honest Cigar Reviews drive in theater last I remember
Yeah, I remember seeing kill bill back in 03' there. The drive in was in the parking lot though, would've been way cooler if it was in the actual dome.

I would’ve, but it was submerged in water
Love watching videos on abandoned places and this is a real fun watch. Nice video my friend!
+Loryder711 thank you friend... I have many more on the channel I think you’ll enjy
50,000 people used to live here, now it's a ghost town.
Lone Badger yeah, it’s pretty desolate
I don't think no one gets this reference😂
+Anthony Doe thanks for visiting friend
Anton Daniels Its an old Call of Duty reference, I don't know how I still remember the line.
+Lone Badger 😂😂😂
All of those vehicles are the recalls from Volkswagon
James McIntyre bingo!
James McIntyre figure VW would have that many recalls
I'm surprised that's not the head quarters for every homeless person around.
+Dustin McCoy nah, nothing around there but office buildings
Anton Daniels just recently they had people steal those cars and replace the vin and sell them at auction in Tennessee I know because I work security there
I am from UK but knew all about this stadium. Loved your video and now I've subscribed...Awesome!
Thanks for the sub my friend
Nice video, I’m watching this today, after it’s supposed to be demolished. I’m from Coldwater Michigan about 2 hours away from there but those Barry Sanders memories fade back into my memory🙃

First one to the concert ahahaha
Max Willson 😂😂😂
Max, more like "I'm here! Oh, damn. The concert is TOMORROW."
Thanks, happy new year
This is amazing man!!!
MuiTube you’re more amazing for watching.
Anton Daniels if you ever find yourself in Melbourne, Australia hit me up. We can go urbex
IMO the Georgia Dome was the biggest waste of money I've ever seen.. Not only that when it was first built it wasn't done in Falcons colors. Everytime I looked at it, it reminded me of a circus tent. then they sunk in all that money to remolded it in 2008. I think they spent like 300 and some odd million dollars on a paint job and red chairs and it was only open for 24 years. 1992-2016 smh
Our ability to waste is amazing
The Georgia Dome was a true money pit.
And then you had Turner Field... another great investment that stood the test of time. WTF Atlanta...
How about the Sky Dome... some 500 million to build?? and rogers bought it for 25 million.
TheToyTable that was built in the 80s, the Jays still play there and the CFL Argos had 25 seasons there. Little better than Turner Field...
Hey man. Thanks for the great video. Ive had plenty of memories there growing up.
Keep yourself safe and take care.
Thanks friend. I appreciate you.
I love this guy. Takes nerve to go in there and make a good video. Well done. Just subbed
Thanks friend 🙌🏾
Nice to see another Michigan vlogger! This was so cool! Sending love as a new subscriber.

Wow that was one of the coolest videos I've ever seen. First of all, i can't believe that you went in there. But just to see that place now after watching WM3 a million times. That place used to seem like the biggest place ever when I was younger
Those VWs are recalled and they needed parking space for them. Great video man
Luomo Rocco you're absolutely correct

+Abraham Rivera it was flooded with water, wish I could’ve

@4:50 You know how much work it would be to tear this up? No, they had no idea how hard it would be actually.

I wish you went to the locker rooms and gym for the teams.
The grounds were flooded at the time... I would’ve had to walk through water
There’s been a lot of videos like this, but this is the best one yet!!!!
🙌🏾 what a compliment!
that's amazing, did they catch you
+GreenGamer absolutely not... NEVER!
Wrestlemania III.
Epic event
Looking at that open blue sky it reminds you it was a mistake to ever make the Silverdome a domed stadium in the first place.
You’re probably right

spllitz emissions scandal from VW
Those are the recalled VW cars
+Brayden Monk you’re correct sir. Probably will end up in the crusher
Anton Daniels
Nah they'll be moved to another country where they can be sold or they'll be repaired to be sold here. The cars basically only need a software update.
spllitz "there"
