- Iguana Solutions visits 'the giving tree' again to hunt some of the giant iguanas there. We brought our good friend, Tapan to try out our Brocock PCP Air Rifles. We end up returning in the afternoon to harvest even more iguanas for some friends planning a party and Iguana is on the menu!
Iguana Snipers #88
Iguana Solutions is a wildlife removal company in South Florida that removes invasive iguanas from the environment. Native species such as butterflies, various herbivores, burrowing owls, and more suffer from the invasive iguana effects on the ecosystem.
Iguana Solutions catches iguanas with permission, contracts, and insurance. We follow all laws and regulations and care very much about the iguanas we catch, despite the required end result.
This episode features a number of native species for Florida including Gopher tortoises, osprey, a night heron, black racer (snake) and of course many invasive iguanas.
We work WITH authorities to be as safe as possible for all parties and the public.
For more info on invasive iguanas research iguanas in The Cayman Islands or in Puerto Rico.
Iguana solutions is a wildlife removal company that specializes in invasive iguana removal. We use patent pending traps designed by Jessica and other innovative techniques. We also use air rifles to remove iguanas. We work under private contracts and insurance and cannot bring others along on the job which is why we share the excitement with you here on RUclips.
We use Brocock pcp airguns from Airguns of Arizona (@airgunsofarizona ) to euthanize iguanas and for distance pest control. Often times, iguanas on roof tops or up trees can only be taken by air -rifle. Our Atomic XR air -rifle is shown in this video in 22 caliber. It works best on iguanas in the 10-35yard range. This video shows the close range capabilities of this versatile airgun as it can be converted to an air-pistol. The Concept XR 22 cal is good for up to around 65 yards but can also shoot on some lower settings, making it a versatile iguana gun in my opinion.
You must have property owner permission to do Iguana hunting or iguana removal legally. Canals are owned by the state and water district. Parks are owned by cities and counties, etc. Land next to ponds and lakes are owned by those condo associations and individual owners....so be sure you have permission to be where you are. It IS illegal to take someone's iguana from their property if they want it and love it. You must know the rules
