The only mistake that OP Jindal made was that he divided his empire into four parts, to ensure that his sons don’t fight a fact evidenced by how he built identical homes for his children. The businesses they’re in require scale, an advantage he had but got lost in all of this cross-holding and divisions. If he would have allowed the family company to be one( controlled and by a family trust) where the firm was ring-fenced from the family. He would have set the group on a path like the Tata’s today only Sajjan Jindal is a truly carrying on his legacy, Naveen Jindal is struggling and the other two brothers are rather small. Had the business stayed one this could have been different and could have touching new heights.
