Plot twist, it’s neither Bluey’s or Bingo’s but just some neighborhood kid that likes to mess with Bandit
But, here is the thing that the pup is a blue heeler and there is no heeler family in the neighborhood except them and the puppy gives reference to the same game that bluey used to play with Bandit so, this makes sense that the child is bluey's and he looks very similar to bluey being a blue heeler just like his mum and l think Mackenzie will be his dad cause the puppy has some black spots on its body and an ear folded and mackenzie looked very similar to the pup when he was his age in the episode space.

That being said I think there is a difference between shipping characters as 6 year olds and exploring what they might be up to as adults including who they may have married, which is what the debate is mostly about
They decidedly are not shipping kids. They are shipping their grown up selves...that we all have seen and are speaking of specifically. it would be slightly different if they were shipping them in present tense, while they are children, but most people aren't when they are discussing this topic.

Think the reason Chilli didn't ask about Bluey's child is she already knows if they're not "in view" they're near by but up to something cheeky just like Bluey and Bingo when they were kids. Like parents like child

I think that the child was brought along with Bingo, possibly Bluey was at work and so when she got off the child was there before Bluey possibly, but do think that it being a possibility that the kid could be Bingo's is a really smart idea, nice work Margie

I think it's bluey and Mackenzie's child because in the same episode bluey does the gun thingy to her dad in the same episode. Also, the child is blue and has a folded ear like Mackenzie.

I just had a thought: if Bluey and Jean-Luc got married, doesn’t that undermine the message of Camping? It’s saying “No, special people DO get to stay in your lives, and in an even bigger capacity!”
The ending of Camping seems to imply that they’re long-distance friends. Considering how they still remember each other and aren’t surprised 10 years later, it’s probable that they’ve seen each other on a few trips, so they’re able to see each other for a few days every year or so
I think they just remembered each other from when they were both 6, they still didn't see each other for 10 years, it still keeps the moral that you can lose contact with someone and need to remember them for when you were together, not how you are apart
If Jean-Luc & Bluey didn't get hitched & have a child; Then the only other option for the Daddy we have so far(that we know of) is MACKENZIE[Especially with that floppy ear]

I truly believe it’s Bluey’s kid, but I like the idea if Bluey could of been a surrogate mother for Bingo. Like maybe Bingo would have the same miscarriage problem that Brandy and Chili have.
Actually it was only chilli who had a miscarriage, before, brandy used to be infertile, now she is pregnant, we can see her pregnant in “the sign”

It's quite strange Bluey left the child and allowed Bandit close the door, I believe Bandit was playing with the kid somewhere else, so Chili had to call him multiple times

Idk why but I think it’s noticeable that Bluey has gotten taller, it might just be how she was animated for that scene but yeah, she looks taller next to the doorbell vs how she had to jump just to hit the doorbell. You can even see how when she went back against the wall, her head was below that white “line” but in the next scene her head literally reached it. Like I said it could just be the way she was animated, but I also like to think it’s her growing.
oh yah! i mean the first clip was also way early in the season too, and if you see the new pup, they are as tall as bingo was or shorter. So maybe it wasn't an error, and they did it specifically to throw people off of who the mum is.

When I first saw this episode, I thought, "Oh man, it's Jean-Luc's."
Never questioning that Bluey was the Mom, given that she just played the same game with her Dad, earlier in the episode. Then I started thinking about all the little things Ludo Studio puts in the background, that we as the audience don't necessarily notice at first. That purple rug really bugged me that Bandit is standing on. Nothing else is purple in their house as far as furnishings. Then I noticed that earlier in the episode, the rug he's standing on has the same coloring as Bingo. Does that make it Bingo & Jean-Luc's?
All that to say, after catching up on Margie's videos, I think we may never know. There are too many happy endings in, "The Sign." Frisky and Rad are married and staying close by. Trixie and Stripe, well, that's just their dynamic, isn't it? Aunt Brandy is pregnant. We know where Grandpa Bob has been. The Terriers and Winton now have a blended family. Bandit and Chilli are still happily in their home. Each of their daughters successful in life, as shown in the photos. And the child? I think showing the future scenery, but the same game being played, is a throw back to, "Phones." In that episode, Mort is the Granddad, playing with his grandkids, in what is to him, a futuristic world. He says, "Kids stay the same though." Now it's Bandit and his grandkid playing. (Regardless of parentage.)
Life moves forward, but kids stay the same.
Given that Margie has uncovered that all the animators have moved on, I think this was an actual ending for Bluey as we know it.

@@dianekelley7362 when u saw it I was immediately like “oh shit? Mackenzie and bluey had a child??!!” I saw instantly a mini mackenzie because in the space episode with that tunnel you can see a flashback of him being a baby. I saw his patterns and fur on her child while I saw blueys colouring

I think the whole point is that there is no definitive answer. Baby could belong to Bluey or Bingo, Jean Luc or McKenzie, some un-met character. The future is undefined, to let fans decide whatever they like best.
I personally like the theory that Bandit and Chili had a surprise middle-age baby. Or that it's a neighbour kid who likes to terrorize Bandit

I think it’s a possibility. We know just how crazy genetics can be. Bingo looks like her aunt brandy but brandy is not the mom. The one floppy ear can also be from bandits side of the family as we have also seen.

the second i heard of this theory, i realized it made a lot of sense. Like, I could see Bluey not keying her parents in if the kiddo asked her to let it be a surprise, but not Chili and Bandit not asking or wondering - with Bluey giving an exaggerated 'i don't know, I'm sure they're about' to play along for the kid and let her parents know it's a game. With Bingo already being here, they wouldn't be wondering, they'd know the kid was about. And, after being reminded that Stripe has a lopsided ear, I don't even think the ear is a hint at anything, as they've used it to just differentiate heelers before. Personally, it almost definitely is Bluey, but I like the idea it's Bingo. And what Bluey took away from the lesson was that she DIDNT want to be shot at constantly xD
Really… interesting point. I thought the takeaway for Bluey was that despite their personalities as children, children will grow up and have a different personality- a “surprise” to how parents think their children would behave based on their younger selves compared to how they behave as adults. As children, Bluey is adventurous while Bingo is domesticated- the surprise (as it would seem) is Bluey being more domesticated while Bingo is more adventurous (as by the pic of Bingo on Easter Island). SURPRISE!!! 😊
I personally don’t think so, as I think Bluey and Mackenzie end up getting married and this is their offspring, but it is always a possibility 🤔

I mean I personally like it cuz for me it still supports how it's Bluey seeing how she feels about kids, and it could mean that she ultimately decided she didn't want them which I think helps support Chilli's line of "if you want them". (But this is coming from someone who realized very early on that I never wanted kids who has been dying for some genuine representation of willingly childfree people that's positive and doesn't have a show force them to have kids anyway and change their minds by the end). And to me, the fact that Bingo does show that she wants kids while Bluey is on the fence is strong evidence to me because a lot of people seem to have a good idea on whether they want kids or not pretty early.
I thought that it was Bluey and McKenzie's kid right away. Because its been hinted at that they have gotten together. However, Bingo is already out back. So maybe that's why the kid is there, but also they could have assumed that Bluey was bringing her kid along.

I highly doubt that's the case, it's more likely that the possibility of Bingo being the actual mom of the Child is a red herring. Chili's "Come on, Bingo's out the back." made no mention of Bingo's child. If this was done intentionally by Chili, the target to surprise would've been Bluey instead of Bandit.

I still believe it’s Bluey and Jean-Luc’s kid as I looked up blue heeler and black labrador mix and it looked actually like the puppy at the end plus there’s the ending to camping and yes I looked up a blue heeler and border collie mix and it looked noting like the puppy but who knows Bluey could have married a different person

I think it’s Bingos and the kid was already there bc no one asked about Blueys partner or kid(s) (maybe she was single) while Bingo was out back with the kid, and Bandit was late bc he was playing with Bingo and Bingos kid. I think we didn’t see Bingo bc she ran to the front to ring the bell that the kid couldn’t reach; And it’s 4:30, so the kid wouldn’t be at school most likely.

The similarities are just too vague for it to point to one person. 😅
i'd like to disagree this time. The puopy snout is practically the same colors as bluey, the palette is indigo that means that blue colors were mixed. Bandit's color are also very prominent. Sometimes first borns look like their parents. It depends on how strong the genes are. Since bluey is the first born and has Bandit genes, (really strong genes i must say since her and bandit look alike so much) that means that she carries that strong genes that Bandit gave her along. I think people just say that it's Bingo's child to avoid arguments, but i highly believe that the creators wanted to create two worlds apart from Bluey and Bingo.
You see in Surprise we see that Bluey doesn't really thinking about a family and even asks if she will have children in the future. Meanwhile Bingo has a family. I really think that in the future these things are going to be the opposite, its not the first time that Bluey studio does that.

Did you ever think of the similarities between the heeler pup and socks? I mean, the resemblance is uncanny, socks could have grown up and given birt, perhaps socks lives in the neighbourhood and the pup comes around regulary you know? Oh and i think bingo and lila got together and adopted a few kiddies

As you mention Brandy, I think that SHE was the one in Bandit’s flashback - which explains why Chili doesn’t remember it. The girl looks so much like her too!
Bingo is still single that time, that's why she still lives with Chilli and Bandit, and that kid looks nothing like Bingo tho and Bluey is the one who asked if she will have children and already learned what having kids is like

Definitely Bluey's kid. I think Bandit and Chilli watch the kid while Bluey and her spouse work and ususaly its the spouse (whom i belive to be Jean-luc) who picks up the kid and thats why Chilli wasn't expecting Bluey when she opened the door.
I can totally see Bluey and Chili setting this prank up for Bandit.
I doubt it. The design characteristics seem too specific to Mackenzie or Jean-Luc, and there’s no hint in the show of Bingo’s potential spouse
Another thing that makes me say it’s Bluey’s: the kid looks to be about the same age as Bingo, and most of the parents in the show have grey hairs, which Bluey does have in the future, but Bingo, at least in the picture we see, does not
Hasn’t anyone else noticed that the picture to the left of the door changes from the scene with Future Bluey, to the scene with the mysterious baby?! I saw that and figured it was two different moments in time.

While Bingo could be pretending to be a mum and she might of wanted kids when she was little
As she got older she couldn’t changed her mind about kids and not ether want them or not ready for them.
Bluey on the other hands. When she was a kid and asking if she would have kids she might of been scared off a little about having kids , but in the game she was playing a being the “ big sister” her mind could of changed to wanting kids/ ready for kids.
As a kid myself I thought out wanting kids but now I don’t want kids and I’m ok with just being an aunt to my siblings kids.
I think Bluey's the mom- Bingo would probably have kids eventually, but the episode was kindaaa about bluey, mainly the end part- also the child only slightly resembles bingo, the fur color could be from the father but i don't think we've seen any character so far that would possibly grow up to be with Bingo some day. But, considering there's 2 possible dad's in the case that it's bluey's kid, plus is also just looks more like her and maybeee jean luq (kinda mackenzie too, idk which would be the dad.) i just think it's more likely that its her kid. Thats just what I think tho, so I could be wrong
Twist, it is Bingo's kid, via IVF, so we keep the silly but sweet Lila shipping on the table.
Just suggesting this. In The Sign, when Bingo find out they have to quit the house and go somewhere else, she ask if Lila is going too. Now, we know that Bingo and Lila are best friends and even when they are older, they are still friends.
What if, in the future, Lila and Bingo are a couple and decided to have a child. The child could be adopted, explaining why the Child don't look like Lila or Bingo, or they have used a donor and Bingo is the mom.
And I forgot to say since blue is the mother and Mackenzie is the father the baby is a Blue heeler mixed with a border collie

Some said that is weird how Chilli and Bandit didn't aks Bluey about her child or Bluey said something, but remind that in the past Stripe had visited the family without Trixie or Muffin, so maybe they think that the little one is with his father or in school, and Bluey thinking in that (and maybe want to make happy the puppy by surprising his grandpa with the toy) she didn't say anything (i highly believe that the puppy is a boy)

I think that the kid is Blueys because I believe the animators were hinting it because that’s where Bluey was standing with a toy very similar to that. I think it is Bluey's child. And the child usually plays "surprise" with Bandit, and that's why Chili yelled for him(and didn't ask about the kid). I think Bandit only says "uh oh" because this is the first time the kid has had the blaster toy, and wasn't just hiding to jump out and "scare" Bandit
I actually looked up what a heeler would look like if they were mixed with a border collie vs a labrador, and they look the same to me😭😭
I have a feeling that it is bingos child, bingo was outside waiting for bluey. And I dont think anyone would walk into a house without knowing there kid is following. And also, the kid could have gone from the backyard to the front yard, and bingo seems like the person to have kids. Also the way the little dog smiles looks like bingos smile, and as you said the brightness. And bingo, bingo had those eyebrows when she got mad or was getting into trouble. And also, like why didn’t they ask about the kid? And if I where to joke around about it, I would start to smile alot. But it could also be bluey but that i don’t have a lot of evidence from that but i guess we will find out in season 4!

The most difficult part of this is we never saw Bingo in the flash forward in person and obviously the photos in the background don’t have the best visuals on the heelers’ gray hairs. BUT heelers get gray/white hair after having children. So Bluey absolutely had to have had a child by this point! I’ve also seen the comparison photo of the heeler/border collie mix puppy with the cutie we see in this episode, and they’re a great likeness! 💙🧡
I think it's Bluey's kid, and her parents could have assumed the grandkid was at school or with its dad or something. And that was the surprise lol

I really sincerely think it's Bingos. The whole game Bluey played was avoiding being a mother while Bingo always chooses to be a mom.
Being that this is possibly the last episode of Bluey, it kinda only makes sense that it would be the kid of the shows namesake. I just wish they'd confirm who is the dad so we can all stop arguing! 😢😂
