    Hello, it's possible to extend the diagram out to the side, if you add two smaller circles to the outside of the diagram at the same height as the Witch and link with lines to the 1st Actor, 1st Actress, Pantalone & the Doctor. The young lovers (2nd Actor & 2nd Actress) are usually the children of the 1st Actor, 1st Actress, Pantalone or the Doctor. Because of their youth they sit outside the social hierarchy. Apologies for that omission from the diagram. Thank-you for your comment.

    This is so interesting for me as a student of western Kabbalah - it seem to me that the diagram of the tree of life is used arbitrarily as a scheme to define the different energies/characters - interestingly enough - a scheme of 11 spheres is serving the characters - the diagram in its origin is 10 spheres where the 11th one is hidden.
    - in tantric numerology there are 11 archetypes which probably match betters - these 11 ‘faces’

    Hi! First, I must congratulate the team of young actors and their teachers!! Second, I have a question... is there really a difference between Magnifico and Pantalone? Sometimes I find that they are usually referred as the same character.

    • @narcycalamatta
      @narcycalamatta 9 лет назад +7

      Enrique Nue Dear Sir, in Italian the word magnifico is equivalent to being magnificent in what you do. Normally it was the respectful way of calling a Notary Public who knew all the secrets of each family's possessions and contracts, therefore highly feared and respected. This attitude gave the magnifico a sense of grandeure and bombast. Now the Pantalone mask could be such a larger than life loud and magnificent character or indeed a decrepit old man who is still interested in sex but is myopic, forgetful and shuffles along with a squeeky voice and no dignity. In both cases he is a stingy and greedy merchant.
