Guys, this is why it is so so important that we ground our emotional worship in sound theology. This song popped up on my Spotify, and while the message in this song isn’t “wrong”, the phrasing teeters very close to a self-centered Christianity. We should definitely focus on reserving that space for Christ and focusing our attention on serving him vs our expectations of him. Just a friendly critique from a Catholic who does love praise and worship. Be blessed!
What? What part of this creates a self-centered Christianity? Have you read the Bible, that's most important. We need the word as meat not like milk that has been chewed, and digested then spit out by another person to interpret what they believe. ALL of God's word is truth.
I think you got it wrong here my friend. You are listened and instead of keenly discerning what the song is speaking , you judged it at face value. It is like reading a parable of Christ, or reading the bible without understanding what the passage is saying, which is why many christians get lost. Look, this song is deeply scriptural , you only have to go to the book of Daniel and look around you, how many christians are persecuted, thrown in lions dens because of their faith, because of standing for the right cause, how many people have been denied by their families because of the same? You only have to go to where Jesus is praying, saying please take the cup away from me, nevertheless your will and not mine, Hey buddy, listen to the song before you jump on the comments. You will be faithful to me is such a powerful and faith-filled statement to say to God to anyone going through persecution because of their faith, or being wrongly accused of something. I can actually see Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego singing this song, while saying they STILL WILL NOT BOW! THANKS @LOWorship FOR THIS SONG! NEVERTHELESS SENDING LOTS OF LOVE YOUR WAY @akwinas_a_o
@@frankJacksonmusakali I appreciate your interpretation of the song. I still think regardless, we should be careful to hear what others may hear. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong interpretation. To me, the song still sounds narcigetic, and I think pretty obviously so. Much love.

I totally agree with you. God is indeed faithful irrespective of who we are. His faithfulness shouldn't be demanded.
I like this song regardless ❤
