My generation does their part. We don't put the AC on or heat until absolutely necessary, we recycle, conserve, share and contribute to anything worthy. I have 30 year olds on both sides of me and their air conditioners go non stop even when its cool out . I hear one minute the air goes on then the next minute the heat goes on. Their houses are lit up night and day. Porch lights on 24 hours a day. But they are the first to bark at me about climate change because I cut my grass.
I grew up in Corpus Christi Texas, we never had AC , thank God, Corpus is always windy from the Gulf of Mexico.

Renewable energy at this point is like a hobby farm. Sure you can take a few veggies to the farmers market on the weekend but you're not going to supply a supermarket chain and feed a country that way.
