Another great video. One of the things I enjoy most about your channel is that you give a limelight on so many older and family friendly games. It’s nice to find new content that is not purely about the new hotness.
omg.... This is definitely one of the most amazing board game reviews I have ever seen. I feel like I'm going to get beat up and then slam a pint together. Cheers
Thanks! Fer here, mate. I have been thinking to get this one to play with my kids. OK, what I really wanted to say is that I love love the lighting on that corner where you do the talking.
It’s great with adults and kids. I normally play Carnival Zombie for Tower Defence with grown ups these days though. The Wizards Tower expansion add more stuff. Castle Panic isn’t exclusively for kids but just bear in mind that it’s mega light and can end without warning. All depends what games you’re used to playing really. Don’t play this if Roads & Boats is your #1 game of all time.
Yes mate. Just waiting for lockdown measure to end so we can play it again with full player count. Hoping to do it in December if we’re not locked down.
I believe they are in the process of making a 3d version of this game with updated art as well. Personally I'm not interested unless they also make an updated Wizard's Tower. The base game feels too luck dependent when I'm playing with adults. As a kids game it is pretty good. My son likes moving the pieces around.

You’ll love this list then Samir me old mate 👍🏻

Careful what you wish for….
I used this as a teambuilding/icebreaker game with new hires at our company. Worked great!
The best thing is being able to manipulate difficulty by mixing and matching your own combinations of monsters (from different expansions)

Cheers mate. Old led light we found dumped in the street.
In your opinion. What would be a game which pulled off those mechanics a bit better?
Plenty of decent tower defence games out there. Carnival Zombie is a favourite as is Dawn of the Zeds.
@@BoardGameBollocks Thank you for the quick reply. I will look into them :)
My daughter(6) and I enjoyed playing it... simple enough mechanics...the games either feel too hard or too easy depending on the draw.
Exactly right...👍🏻
Thanks for the video. Seems to be a fun little time-passer,
Love the intensity he brings to this review.
You should see me in the pub mate 😂
Would you recommend this one if you only have adults to play with, mate? Looks fun, but maybe too light unless kids are playing too?

Think I’ll hold out for Carnival Zombie, second edition on its way by the looks for it. Thanks for the info
Last I heard it was delayed again. Great game and will be worth the wait if they get the rulebook translation right this time.
Ah balls! Any plans on doing a review of the original?

That’s would be interesting but as you say it needs the expansions.
@@BoardGameBollocks Kickstarter for the 3d version (with all expansions) starts on May 11
The Jason Statham of board games.
You God Damn right!
Great game! Great video!
