On this quiz I got 26/30 and the bands I missed are ones I knew but I brain fogged. The 1960s sure did have some excellent music especially the acid rock/psychedelic stuff.
Didn’t get 3 of them. Grateful dead. Zombies. Credence Clearwater revival. Owned quite a few of them still have them in another form. Sold allmy vinyl when cds came out bought them in cd. Sold allmy cds when streaming appeared. I was retiring and was downsizing houses had over a thousand and nowhere to keep them. Bought a burner and my wife and I burned them on to it so I still have the all We are both 75 years young and we listen to music every day lots of memories in there 🎉❤
21. Funny thing is that a few of those i missed, were records that I actually had lol. I knew the "Music from Big Pink" cover seemed familiar, as well as the Grateful Dead. I'm getting old obviously. 😉
I loved this quiz, mostly for the lovely/funny album covers. But 60s music isn't my strongest point and a lot of pictures went by with my just saying "The Who? Is this one The Who? Surely one must be The Who?" Well, let's just say I had to wait. 😉
27/30 and 18 bonus points for album titles. Missed out on Animals, Easy Beats and Yardbirds. ( I worked in a record store for several years from 1965 onwards 😀 )
I got most of the BANDS but missed some of the actual albums. Some of these I'm seeing for the first time, even though I've heard of them, like MUSIC FROM BIG PINK and ANTHEM OF THE SUN. I know of these lps, but I have no memory of ever seeing the sleeves. First time seeing an image of THE EASYBEATS. Only a name to me. From Liverpool?
The Easybeats were actually Australian. All of them had been born on Europe but came out to Australia as kids and they formed the band in Australia. Two were from Holland, one from Scotland and two from England (Yorkshire and Liverpool). They were based in Australia when Friday on my Mind became an international hit.
Knew all the Motown, Jimi cause I saw him in 69’ Doors, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel. Had mostly 45s in the 60s: missed out on the cover art. For a 70 year old I did poorly.
Don't think so, I'm 75 & a brit. Got 18 A couple I should of got {& some guess work} Couldn't think of the "Supream's name. Knew it wasn't Martha & Vandella's but that name stuck in my mind. LOL Album's where expensive back then. Thirty bob when you only earned a fiver. BUT we got to see a lotta the band's, like the WHO regularly at Dances....

OMG 22/30 I failed in bands that weren't rock or pop
These were bands, not solo artists. I counted 4: The Supremes, Jefferson Airplane, The Mamas and the Papas, and the Seekers. But you are right, there were many female groups that could have been included, especially out of Motown.
Brain freeze on four of them, really enjoyed that and thanks for the happy memories. Also the background music was awesome!
Good call.

We tied!! How do bonus points work? I got a solid amount of album titles that I didn’t include in my 26/30 score

The only problem with these quizzes is there aren't more of them. ;-)
I got 22/30. Knew about 13 of the album names too. Nice quiz!

22 points, including bonuses
My favorite kind of music!!!
Harder than I expected. 18 . Knew I'd not do that well when I didn't get The Kink's. LOL

Loving it ❤️
40/60 (album titles included) is not bad... considering I have a range in music from the early 50's until today
I remember all the bands and their music but too stoned to remember the album covers😅😅
15/15
I got all the bands except the Seekers and 27 0f the album titles

Name the album .. 12 out of 30
I did better than I expected as I was only a child in the 60s
Bands - 22 out of 30
Albums - 13 out of 30
And I was only a child... in the 90's! 😁
Born 1961
Name the band... 23 out of 30
Name the album.... same.
If I know it, I know it. If I don't ... I don't. 🙂
21/30. Surprised how many I knew.
11/30. A couple of great album covers from the 60s not featured here, were This Was and Stand Up by Jethro Tull.
And Vanilla Fudge

Yes a Liverpool band. I'm a Brit & didn't get that one either.

I knew 29 of them but only got 25 in the time. And 16 albums

Odessey AND Oracle, OK?
15 bands, 4 albums. In my defense, I wasn't born when half of these came out.
25/30 on the artists - 18/30 on album names
17 corect answers
23
Only 13 bands.
Beatles "Revolver" album!
Just the one ? LOL Not very good !
Did lousy honestly.
Question?? Where are all the female artists? Only 1 out of 30? That's nearly as low as you can go. ✌
There weren't that many . Cilla & Lulu. Dione Warwick. The girl's came out of the woodwork a bit later.
