The D in chemistry part is too much Pastor. It's called needing help..just like in every other area in life! And not inviting someone to church because of that could mean a difference between life and death (literally!) for that child or even that child's family. That student being invited to church can help lift that D from the other kid to a passing grade while that D student could bring him or her to you for God to lift them up and set them on the right path! Remember that pastor. Grades has nothing to do with God needing you to say something to someone!! He may have a word for that kid! (And yes, I know there is a point to what you said but as a mom who has a son who made an attempt at suicide...I understand what it is to have a hurting child that may need that encouraging word, even if you aren't doing the one on one sit down with them.....you may be that person to speak into a person that they may not have any where else in their life! God got me to my son! Others may not have that!). Forgive me for making my first comment on your videos to be "negative" but as someone who understands what it is to need a word from God as a woman who has depression and anxiety and a son with depression....I've had to learn to be careful with a lot of things said and that comment scared me.

I absolutely agree! WE ALL NEED JESUS AT EVERY MOMENT. Getting a D in chemistry shows that you have a need for God in your life. You fail, I fail, we all fail. But God is there to lift us up!! He does not expect us to be a certain way before we can reach the lost!!! Our whole lives are meant to grow and change and serve God. Not in our "perfection" but in our weakness. It's our weaknesses we find strength in God!! Glory!
Grades shouldn't define you. Joyce Meyer, a wonderful & outstanding WOMAN preacher flunked her high school english classes- but that didn't stop her calling to God. I went through my junior year of high school being homeless and dealing with the confrontation to the cops for the sexual abuse my own father did to me. He's now in prison but that's the least important thing in this comment- the most important thing is no matter how hard life got, I always stayed above my C. Reason being was for the communication I provided for my school's board of education in my past circumstances. This comment was from a year ago and I don't know where you're at in life. But know that God WILL align certain "flags" or "check points" in life in order for you to get through and remember what he did (Through people in your life, songs that you needed to hear, or a poem in your language class) , if you're willing to embrace it.
