@@davesheville2023 not as naive as you think, but I am a fan. To my understanding, the Drumeo staff picked the nominees for each category, so somebody there thought she was deserving. After that, a public vote by Drumeo subscribers, who far outnumber Warning fans and probably include a few drummers. Do I think Pau is the best drummer in the world? Probably not, but I encourage you to watch a video of Pau playing a whole show. Very focused and professional. She sings harmonies, sings lead on several songs and operates the backing tracks. Her drumming energy is very consistent and she seldom makes mistakes. You can try Paucam at U-Fest. Skip the first five minutes. Besides that, her pocket is great. I've been a bass player and sound engineer for some decades and she's the drummer I always wanted to play with, even though she wasn't born yet.
I have no idea who the nominees were, but I’d put a million bucks on the vast majority of them being from the Americas with a few exceptions if they are monsters in the field. The Warning fan base is massive and I’m not sure you’d be correct on your estimate against the drumeo subs. She’s a good drummer, but if she’s beaten out any serious names in the drumming world then it’s further evidence of a popular vote, not skill based. There are tens of thousands of drummers that can do what she does (not just the playing side of things). I’ve watched enough of them to see that she’s good but not special. I teach drums for a living so I have a good idea of what I’m watching, and more importantly, hearing. Many Warning fans listen with their eyes…you only have to read the comments on their vids to see that. Just a bit of perspective, if she was to jam with Gacharic Spin from Japan, she’s only be the third best drummer in the band….. I’m pretty sure Hana and Yuri from that band weren’t even thought of by drumeo. There is a sea of drummers miles ahead of Pau, that’s just a fact. @@rexwave4624

Haven't seen that particular clip before, But PAU Makes me cry all the time and I'm still crying . They worked hard and look for that now I love these sisters in the moon. And I am A72-year-old man that live through their 60s and 70s so I know a little bit about rock and roll. God bless them all Long live The warning❤❤❤

En lo personal ese simple pero poderoso discurso de Pau fue lo que me motivó a buscar una pasión así como ellas con la música. Lo que más me impresionó fue la confianza con que lo dice, la convicción a pesar de estar tan joven. Con los años han probado que ciertamente es verdad. Han trabajado demasiado duro y realmente se ve que aman la música y el rock, no solo era un hobby
