I watched this and I don’t think the commander was evil at all. He was forced to decide if two people suffer or everyone suffers and as a military officer he probably has not been brain washed but certainly had it ingrained that the one sacrifices for the many. It’s very logical and he probably was so emotionally overwhelmed that he just followed military logic.
I mean the most logical thing for the commander to do is to lie to the guy having a mental breakdown if it gets everyone working together immediately and then choose to not sacrifice anyone when the time comes. I mean how the hell is that 1 guy going to force soldiers to be sacrificed, if he even brings it up again the commander will just have him locked up again, and then everyone will see who is the crazy one.
It's really a stupid script to badly force the plot to centre around that arman guy and make him more important because he is supposed to be the main character, it's such bad writing lol.
@@quitlife9279 Not at all, what he did was the most logical. Arman said he would get them to work together if he sacrificed two at the next stop. Even if he lied and played along with no intention it was still broadcast to everyone. It was a great plot device to overthrow the commander...
@@brianbrown4513 I feel like the plot device would only work to win over the soldiers against their own commander if the scripted soldiers were supposed to have an iq of 5…
I mean maybe lol but it feels pretty silly to me. I still feel like either the writers of this has to be stupid or that the writers expects the audience to be for this plot to be made.
If anything it devalues the soldiers in the show by failing their character development to make them inhumanly stupid thus turning them into nothing but a cheap plot device instead of characters in their own right.
@@quitlife9279 The point of soldiers are that we are expendable. I learned that in Iraq. As a show, they are the same as red shirts in Star Trek. They are meant to be cannon fodder. It's for the greater good. Needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. I'm all for it as long as I'm not the one on the chopping block.
What's the name of this movie or show?
I like how even canned food is bad but all the electronics are in perfectly working order.
Why do you like it ? I think it makes the show unrealistic. Realistically all electronics would be shot even by a minor normal flair. Probably my least favorite inconsistency of the show.

Just realised, the guy at the end who shoots him is in Into the Night, this means the dam is actually where all the survivors from In The Night are staying.
Yeah in ITN season 2 the BE Air West guys split up to get seeds. Matthew Ayaz and some other guys go to the Seedbank in Norway while Sylvie and the others stay at the NATO Bunker. A submarine (this one) is also known to be headed to Norway in the show.

What fish? What sea plants? Everything's dead except for stuff super far under water that they have no possible way of catching without very specialized fishing gear. They can't just go out there with a fishing pole. Also all the plants are dead. They can't eat them because the sun did something to the molecules which makes them inedible and not nutritious.

@@14catsand1human they're in the very deep water that's what is letting them survive. They have food on the ship which is down there in the very deep water. She was attacked by a deep water fish which again they won't be able to catch ever and all of them will be shortly dead as well since deep ocean relies on a constant supply of ocean snow to survive which will no longer occur since there's nothing alive to make it.

Pretty much food that the marine animals above them make. Without fish and other marine wildlife toward the top of the ocean, ocean snow isn't made anymore, therefore eventually they'll run out of food and starve, too.
I like how this series happens at the same time with the series "into the night"

@@bejeu4264 Actually you're wrong. Humans also consume fish from deep waters were there's no sun. You won't find them in supermarkets for obvious resasons, but the idea we don't eat any other fish than those near the surface is simply not true. So yes, they could have survived by catching fish.

I like the way how they switch from mystery recapped to series recapped without even us noticing it
I noticed. Mystery Recapped has an actual person behind it. This seems to just have the script and use an AI voice trained on Mystery Recapped voice. Sorta efficient I guess, but noticeable, especially with the lack of jokes and mis-pronunciations.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they made various series covering the 'End of the World via Sunlight' through various POV. You've got the group vaguely surviving by flying ahead of the sun. Then you've got the group vaguely surviving underwater to survive the sunlight. I also remember them mentioning the same thing about the nutrients in the food in the series with the airplane. If you follow the 'lore' given in each series. They do tie together quite nicely. Too many things in common to not be. ---- There is an animated series on RUclips called the SCP Foundation. One of their many plots involve 'When Day Breaks', a time when the Sun is no longer humanity's ally. The story is both demented and funny. The only thing missing from this series is the blob monsters from When Day Breaks.

However I do think this channel is using a deep fake of the narrators voice. It struggles to pronounce a few words sometimes and the earlier videos have the voice sounding a bit filtered.
Regardless, this form of content may be lazy, but it’s a good way to introduce good movies to people.
