this video is a dream. grew up on these ladies on snl. everyone has their fav snl cast, usually the one they watched while growing up in hs and these ladies were a huge part of mine. absolutely cannot wait for this to come out. the press alone is such a gift.
Alex Ruland It is actually on Netflix RIGHT NOW!!!! Wine Country. It wasn’t made for movie theaters but for Netflix to stream. It is HYSTERICAL I just watched it.
@@maryallison0509 i watched it last night as well. didn't realize it was coming out so soon. i loved every second of it as well. it honestly felt like just getting to be a fly on the wall of all these ladies hanging out together and the silly bits they do with each other.
I just finished watching this on Netflix. I'm 55 years old, and I can't believe how much the story, the special individual moments, the wine drinking, the camaraderie, the wine drinking, the ridiculous fall-over-laughing moments, the singing, and the love speak to me. The language of my people... I have a list of 20 friends it is now my mission to push toward watching this movie. Wish me luck.
I'm not a fan of comedy, but I really loved Amy in P&R so I decided to give this movie a chance, and man! I'm happy I watched this movie, I properly belly laughed so many times, I'll probably get sore abs. Amazing group of women, and you can tell they've known each other for a long time, because their chemistry was on point.
Once a day I try to watch any of the videos of these women coz it pulls me off the ground and puts me in my place whenever I feel negative and full of myself.
Brittney Pugh haha i rewound that part a couple of times & was looking to see if anyone else noticed it 😂😂😂 Yes - on a diet, or not wanting to be the first person to get food at a party 😂😂😂
Watched Wine Country too many times and still laughing my ass off every time. This movie had me go to Napa Valley for my birthday, like Rebecca! And a big YES for a podcast!
No Melissa would be too loud and she didnt live the SNL years .... I like how Tina Fey didnt overshadow and each woman had respect to let others speak ... true friendship
This movie was so great. And this is coming from a 36 year old guy lol. Also why didn’t they ever take the molly in the movie. I was totally expecting them to have some ridiculous scene with it lol.
was disappointed to not see her too. i know she's a writer of the film but since she's also in front of the camera i think she should have been there. could have been scheduling conflict, ig.
I absolutely love these women - their acting and comedic timing and delivery is amazing. However, sadly similar to Brides Maids, the movie feels more like a draft needing more editing vs. a finished film/story. In Winecountry, the characters show a problem then a resolution comes around...Then a problem happens again and another solution, problem solution, problem...it keeps going back and forth so it's hard to identify the rising action, climax, falling action. Sure, there can be multiple climaxes to a story, but this movie played out in a confused fashion. As a viewer I found myself distracted by the ups & downs. Nevertheless the acting, comedy, and character dynamics to me endearing when possible.
I wish they wouldn't talk over each other because then I don't what's going on. And boy do I wanna hear what's coming out of the mouths of these hilarious women
Wanted to like this movie since the actresses are such talented comedic actresses but I couldn’t stand the older lesbian desiring a girl who looked like her daughter and the simpleton chef/tour/guide making s huge vat of paella... the writing wasn’t funny much of the time... the doomsday fortune teller scene was funny...but most of it fell flat
This is better than the movie. I'm sorry to say this. I watched Wine Country and it was not funny, it was terribly boring. The cast looked great, but was a dud. Disappointed!
@@makelikeanail which is why i said that. it's more subtle. it felt like actually watching them hang out. i fricken loved it and will watch again. if you aren't a big fan of these women IRL then ig it could seem 'boring.'
Skip the movie. It's not good. The chemistry you see in these interviews doesn't translate on screen and the film is so crass it's ridiculous. Thought it would be a great mother's day film to watch with my mother. 20 mins in there's this LOVELY inappropriate scene that just makes me wonder who the hell thought it was funny.
people always say this about women in interviews but like, in this case i really think it's just because they are such good friends. tell me you've never experienced a get together w good friends where you're all so excited to chat and catch up that you end up talking over each other in excitement?
@@jamescarlin4244 i would agree up until the last bit. it's totally possible to being doing all of those things! they are a literal group of friends that has known each other for 20 years. and they literally said making this movie and doing press has been lovely BECAUSE they have gotten to catch up as they don't get to see each other as often as they'd like, living in different cities. why comment on something you clearly have no knowledge or interest in?
Alex Ruland I’m not allowed to comment ? Sorry didn’t realize you were there and knew all the details. I’ll reach out to you in future when I have comments
@@jamescarlin4244 lol ok cuz that's totally what I implied. I simply was curious why watch a video when yr clearly not into the actors or film. But for sure, reach out with any further info/questions/comments on these ladies and I'll be happy to help.
This needs to be a weekly podcast. Could listen to these wonderful creatives for days.
Me too
Steve Horstman yes
i second that!
I love that Paula Pell, both in the movie and here, is always drinking red wine.
“She’s inviting us over for eggplant and doughnuts - Bring your cats”
Hahaha!...so quick! :) ❤️
I live for this press tour.
Had been feeling a little empty since Ocean’s 8.
I love that Amy is munching on the snacks through the video! That's not something I've seen other actresses do a lot.

Why isn't this 100 hours long?!
I love this line-up of women.

This should be a weekly podcast. I can hear this group of comedy power houses speak all day.
I could watch 30,000 hours of this 😍
I am loving Amy eating the whole time
I love how much they spent of this just talking about their time on SNL
These women are national treasures I swear.I love them all ❤
