Guys ive been using dx12 and works awesome on my 6800xt with ryzen 9 5900x. Performance mode sucks however i just found a solutions this morning for performance mode. Go to dx11 first and make sure you put all settings at low there and then switch to performance mode. This will do the trick and now im getting consistent fps on performance mode and way more than dx12 with no stutters.
@@bretbower438 i have more fps with gpu like 3070 with 7800x3d , than 4090 with ryzen 5600 on 1080p. higher res is diffrent story. Only in fortnite, not other games. also with 1650 i have very high fps with 7800x3d. ryzen 5600x cant push 4090 in lower res like 1080p.
@@fpstest well i have xeon 1650 cpu pretty weak for RX 6800. And 130 on almost the lowest settings and also doesn't stay like that in an actual game it becomes something like 60-80 fps.
My PC stutters on fortnite when I play it even tho I have a 7900XT and i9 11900KF im not sure why, just in battle royale, in creative I can do High settings at 120 but In battle royale I have to lower my settings all the way down and my FPS still drop to 60 sometimes and stutters any idea of why?
The RX 6800 is the best GPU since the the GTX 1070. I bought one for less than $500 AUD over a year ago and it's perfect for 1440p 144hz gaming.

there is no such thing as stable fps in fortnite. there is always drops. fast nvme and texture loading speed play a key role

you need best nvme possible to load textures fast, and windows needs to be on separate disk. So windows on ssd and games on nvme gen 4.
