The Cover Girls should have been bigger, but they went from label to label and had a revolving door of members. IMO, the Angel-Caroline-Margo line up was the strongest, very visually striking and good chemistry. Not to take anything away from later members Evelyn (who had a strong voice) and Michelle (who did an excellent job leading on Wishing on a Star).

These videos are great (and timeless) but if you weren't in any number of the hot clubs in New York (Hearthrob, Devil's Nest, L'Amour East) or New Jersey (Foxes, Passions, Escapades) to see these great acts perform in person, then man, you missed out!
I loved listening to this on WPOW/ Power 96 Miami Florida, which always was at the forefront of both S. Florida groups and New York. Think they eventually changed their format, but at least they were great for awhile!!!😂😂😂
I wish I was at this concert. I was in the Airforce and I was a d.j. at my private dorm parties then. I have all the vinyl still, but looking back I wish I would have skipped a week of drinking my self to death and just went to their concert.

Agreed. Fever Records kept switching label partners (Sutra, Capitol, Epic) instead of sticking with one distributor, which didn't help.
