I totally get how you’re feeling. I had a very difficult time when I turned 40 also. By then my children were in the preteen stage and I was realizing that I was no longer the mother of toddlers. Time was marching on and I was getting older….😳 I was definitely in a funk then. There was no internet then and my parents lived too far away to just drop in and have a talk. But just like you, I finally pulled out of it and now I’m 70! No more funky feelings--I am blessed with grandchildren and a wonderful church family. I hope you will continue to feel better and remember all the things for which you can feel gratitude. That’s the key……😊
