The screen flickering for me like that was because of R.cascades 0 i forgot if thats the whole command pretty sure its not but its the one with "Cascades" in it.

With the Cosmos, you can just shoot up at nothing and jump. It´s a nice little thing, cuss it takes less ´´stamina´´/ammo, then swinging around.
Logging off and relogging usually fixes the flickering on abb hope this helps
