In the instructions you provide it says " Please refer to the images below for installation of the 2 included seat point caps prior to installing the seat cover. These caps help prevent the points of the seat base from poking through the new seat cover. NO GLUE OR STAPLES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS, THE SEAT COVER WILL HOLD THE CAPS IN PLACE ONCE INSTALLED." but what it doesnt say is that those caps fall off when your struggling to install said seat cover replacement and they SHOULD be stapled in place to prevent said caps from slipping out and now poking through my new seat cover damaging it. Gotta say I'm disappointed. In retrospect I'd recommend 2 staples in each end cap piece to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the future, such a simple easy way to prevent $400. worth of damage. $200 first seat cover + $200 second seat cover which I havent purchased yet and am maybe looking elsewhere for a stronger product. Any thoughts?? Would've looked amazing though as all of your covers do. ( and it arrived SO quickly after I ordered it, next day ❤❤❤❤❤ ) I'm going to email you now and see what transpires, maybe they'll send me a new, same seatcover who knows. Thanks in advance ❤
Just received your cover for a Yamaha VX110 Deluxe. Ordered a meite MT7116 Pneumatic Upholstery Stapler and 1000 3/8 crown x 1/4" leg SS staples. I have a ?, What do you use to reshape the foam? Some of the foam has degraded do to sunlight.
That is a Porter Cable stapler. I own the same one. If you notice, the top is rounded with two flat sides. You can see what I am talking about in this video at 1:17-1:19. Porter Cable US58 is the model number.
This should be re-titled: "How Not to Make a How-To Video." Step 1: Play loud, shitty, repetitious music with the same guitar riff for at least 3 minutes straight. Step 2: Don't speak or use words of any type to explain what you're doing. Step 3: Play video as fast as possible so that people can't actually see what you are doing. This way you can ensure that nobody actually benefits or learns anything from your post.
Instructional videos work if there is actual instruction. My seadoo 2005 and 2002 seats are GLUED to the foam. Please show an OLD seat next time and actually TALK. GET RID OF THE HORRIBLE AND LOUD CRAP MUSIC ENTIRELY NO MUSIC is better. DITCH the fast forward. useless video, removing the seat cover is obvious and needs almost no instruction. Also I wonder what your install looks like later...1 year + later?
Would be better if the guy was explaining the steps instead of playing music
Exactly. Shit music was driving me crazy.

Are the covers all waterproof? The instructions mentioned a layer of plastic.
Why do the written instructions tell you to keep the old cover on?
Holy sht another terrible installation. No wonder there's no recent videos. Lmao.
Watercraft butcher store lol
What staple gun is that?

Way too fast to try to follow the process
Too fast
