So true-I red the manga version EXE and Megaman only got an improved Gregar Mode for the last battle. Man, if only Capcom can think of Megaman once again and show the world. (Mind you, now it's 3DS, would be better if there's a true 3D Megaman title.)
I agree. The animation is kinda lame because Studio XEBEC didn't take the anime too serious, except on other anime. But XEBEC also made cutscenes for Megaman 8 and plus, you can see the difference on their anime style and performance if you know what I mean.

I know this sounds absolutely incredibly backwards, but this is absolutely true.. and unfortunately a sad reality, given animators get paid practically nothing. Rockman.EXE's franchise was (likely) done with average animation budget, and I wouldn't be surprised if it often times went over. Most of the times when an episode tends to cost more, it's the result of scheduling of episodes going absolutely wrong and requires the studios to hire additional staff to get the episodes out in time. This often leads to questionable quality of the actual animation. Given the franchise was a yearly series from 2002 to 2008 or so (if we include Ryuusei no Rockman into the mix), the animation studio had to put out a 24 minute episode on a weekly basis, before switching to the 9 minute episode format near the last couple years of its run. This is an incredible difficult load for any animation studio and requires that scheduling for the project to be good, as is the planning. As the series went on, the animation style admittedly started to pander more towards the "Otaku" crowd designs, which were popular with Teenagers and Young Adults at the time (as Rockman.EXE's target audience was a bit older than an a-typical toyetic anime, especially by the time Beast aired), before resetting kinda back more towards the traditional designs for Beast+ and first season of Ryuusei no Rockman (whereas Tribe slowly started drifting back more towards this again). Still, Xebec honest to god cared about the franchise. A lot. However, something definitely happened after the end of Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe, as it got cancelled before the series project planned was realized, and after this, Xebec... no longer would do kid shows by themselves, which makes me think something really bad happened during this project's season. They'd often end up producing it with OLM if they were working on a kids IP. Even some more Teen and Adult targeted shows, OLM would still assist on certain production aspects (such as CGI works and stuff).

I so wish we got this season of the anime in the U.S and further more I seriously wish we got a final battle against Fusion Beast Grezar as fusion style Megaman in the games.

rockman.exe is just data. If he can crossfuse with Netto/Lan it could work. I love this series don't get me wrong but I doubt he would be able to fit into Marvel vs Capcom.

I think their PET projects a hologram and you can use it as a touch screen and the chips are in the PET so you just slide the chip towards megaman from the touch screen to megaman in order to activate it.
This is an alternate world, where after the dimensional area was created(allows for net navis to be in the real world) it malfunctioned, and covered the whole planet. Two beast(possibly created by a different wily) known as falzer and gregar started having wars. Falzer loses, gregar absorbs it and Wily takes control of it from the remains of his memory. At this point they can use battle chips while in battle without having to stand outside of the dimensional area, but they have a time limit for how long cross fusion last in this world.
Well, if you played the game, it's an alternate story, the story is, REALLY, DIFFERENT, FROM, THE, GAME, i recommend you to watch it, it's a good story, yet the game's story is something else (in a goof way), it's too much to explain if you only played the game if you watched the anime, it's an alternate world called "beyondard", the chips still there, but rockman new beast form basically strong enough to defeat trill (the cybeast) without it

Small Correction: While Bass did get Falzars abilities in the manga, he never actually fought Gregar Megaman and they worked together to beat Grezar.
I don't think it matters because you get to enjoy all 3 as they are all different stories.
