Maybe for wrestling but that's it. They turned big cities to cesspools. Inflation, dirty, awful laws, agenda pushing, work mandates, the people, many choose wisely to pass.

I’m 95% sure the last guy to throw it back was a working security guard

Adding to the chorus of "I was there that night". It was one of the first wrestling shows I've ever gone to, I traveled to NYC for the show, & it was amazing. The best way I could describe is, & Rob would probably agree, is that everyone was vibrating the same way that night.

The energy/electricity in hostile territory something out of a movie like Rocky 4. I put it up there with WM 5, 6, 7, 18, honestly Rob you didn't need the assist from Edge in that Match either... you won numerous titles but to become Champion of the World was awesome greatest DVD next to my Macho Man collection.

It was stupid how RVD never held or got the title much in general due to smoking pot. Meanwhile dozens of people on the roster who were pushed to the heavens were on steroids, HGH, painkillers, and drank heavy amounts of alcohol. Society STILL hasn't grown up enough to realize that marijuana does no harm and is overly demonized.
After my second back surgery I was addicted to opiates for years and just two years ago I switched to medical marijuana and it basically saved my life. I am no longer addicted to pills and am in control of my life again.

I didn't like that either. I think RVD should have beat Lena straight up with a clean victory, but having Edge interfere was the WWEs way of keeping Cena as their squeaky clean superman. During those years I don't think he ever lost clean to anyone. That is why I hated Cena at that time. I wouldn't have minded him at all if he was a heel or a face who lost sometimes, it's the fact that they made him unbeatable and corny as fuck. I like him now because he really does seem like a nice guy, but back in the day I thought he sucked hard.

For me personally, that was the best moment in professional wrestling I had personally experienced. Like I never remember being at the literal edge of my seat so much as for this match. And the fans that had the fucking "Cena wins, we riot" signs were wild. I stopped watching professional wrestling a year or two after this but it was an awesome experience and I went to some of those ECW house shows and they were pretty fucking awesome, Big Show is soooooooo much bigger in real life than on TV and pics 😅
