Model A Ford first start in 40 years

- About a month ago I bought this 1929 Model A ford out of a garage where it had been sitting covered up for about 40 years. The engine was stuck, so I put a mixture of diesel fuel and Marvel Mystery oil in the cylinders. After a couple weeks I broke it free.
I bought all new wiring and tune-up parts for it and got it started on the second try. It would have gone on the first if I hadn't set the distributor up 180 degrees out of phase.
Unfortunately the sound recording wasn't working on my stupid phone. But you can see it start on the first puff of smoke. the smoke is from the oil in the cylinders.
That must have been so gratifying!

I just wanted to ask if I'm the only one without sound
diesel and marvel oil (transfluid)....that's a good idea....cleaned and lubed the top cylinders and sealed the rings at the top...smoke is free and temporary. It's was one of the most effective ways to reduce wear on a vehicle that's been sitting for decades.
A little sound would have been nice It was completely silent

Hasn't run for years. No lube in any bearings etc. Cold start. Ancient probably worn out engine. LETS REV THE CRAP OUT OF IT STRAIGHT AWAY!!!!

I just saw this stupid comment. FYI it had been turned over to build oil pressure before starting, and it wasn't even revved up when started. Don't you love these jerks that seem to know everything without any background.
