It is actually gameplay footage. The world is smaller so they make it look pretty. When the entire world is built and ready for release they'll give us trash. Just like they did with the first, and watch dogs. So technically they're correct lol.

you're living in the past, my friend...after the backlash from the two games you mentioned, Ubisoft stopped showing super early pretty footage made especially for demos at trade shows and now only show people exactly what they'll get when they buy the game. They've done that for EVERY game since Watch Dogs and the first The Division...there won't be any "downgrade" for this.

It's actually been proven that it works as a marketing device even when the viewer knows it's scripted. So there's no reason for them not to do it, from their point of view.

Some people don't realise it's not in game, and just assume the voice actors are really good. Thats sort of annoys me but it brings a bigger audience, so fair play!

When guys are in a wife-beater and a pair of jeans and takes twice his weight in ammo to put a guy down, I think aiming for a "realistic" view was the best bet.
I can accept future ninja-bot people can take 350 rounds to kill because "future".
But "guy who works out a lot but has nothing protect his body" takes a giant dump on on the real world vibe they give it.
true but division had no scale balance, i.e i go down in like 4 or 5 shots but i have to reload like 5 times to kill a simple grunt. so pray its more balanced.

Very minor cosmetic differences that should have just been done in updates, it's the exact same game but just in a different map. I love the idea but it just needs to be more playable

It's 100% stabilized for framerate, But i'm not seeing any of the tell-tales of prerendered visuals. (Animation jumps, AA, Camera-lock's characters)
The only thing against it, is loadtimes. Which is understandably something to leave out of trailers.
They said in-game. It might get a GRAPHICAL downgrade but what's happening is gameplay.
The load times can be pretty awful with the first one sometimes, depending how my internet's feeling at the time it can occasionally take 3-4 minutes to get into the game.

They’ve made high quality single player/coop games in recent years.
Siege is an exception in my book, a lot of people love t but he developers won’t fix the hitter or anything.
The fixed the Division by the end, and they revived siege so...
You can totally hate Ubisoft for some shitty decisions before, But you can't say they don't make *GAMES* and not just schemes to make money.
Even if they never make a classic, They're still making enjoyable experiences that (while sticking to a shitty forumala/checklist) can be good.
Ubisoft are technically proficient, but their games have no soul.

They had the best battle royale that no one has ever heard of. Not only are you scared of players in the map, there's AI bosses and grunts. Oh also you're infected with something so you're on a time limit unless you can find some meds and you also have to find clothes that are warm because its in a middle of a snow storm.

Bipolar Gamer they did fix the division though. By the end of its life cycle and nobody was playing it. It brought some people back and some new players but then it died out again. If it came out like that it would probably actually have people playing it.

I played the first game from launch until about a year ago. And my solid bet is that "Drone's were too OP, so we had to remove them from the game." ALSO, I hate that this is their is only 4 players on a team and not 5/6, the bullet sponges wouldnt be a problem with concentrated fire from 5 (this would also let R6 players keep their squad, with no drama!) or 6 (A full squad) rifles. But atleast the "weak points" do more damage, and can immobilize the boss. Also was that Air Force One they were fighting at?

That was painfully cheesy. And I've eaten a sandwich made with two slices of cheese as the outer layer before. But many of the mechanics shown off seem nice. Inventory system looks... a bit clunky to get used to, but easy enough to get the hang of. They didn't show the level 29 equipping more gear though. Did she already have level 30 gear to charge in with? Neat that the enemies' armor can be broken, though. I wonder if you'll be able to get a similar EOD suit or something. Probably not. Then again, there was the Striker and D3-FNC sets from the original Division. Hopes and dreams.

They need to adopt the Ghost Recons Wildlands shooter mechanics into this series. Get rid of the bullet sponges. I liked the first "The Division" my first time through, but it just wasn't interesting enough to keep playing. Basically boiled down to who had the most HP.
So the original division got so much flak for using a heavily scripted 'demo' of their game which in turn didn't reflect how the game really played....and now Ubisoft has put out a heavily scripted game 'demo' that doesn't actually show gameplay.
Well can't force a developer to be smart and learn from their mistakes, guess we will see how bad the damage is come march.
I learned from the first time they released Division 1.....they had "gameplay" that wasn't in the finished product. I'll believe this is "gameplay" when it comes out and I've seen others post about it. Never trusting Division games till proven otherwise.

I think that the way it looks is quite similar with the state of The Division right now which is a really fun to play game but unfortunately lost players because of the bugs that were fixed too late. I think they learned from that experience and that we will get a way better release this time. At the end of the day they are Ubisoft, the guys from there are really smart and learn from previous mistakes. Let's wait until the release and stop thrash talking something that we still do not have enough info about.

I pre ordered this game and want people on my team who talk like that .Everytime i go online its either people with no mic or its boring conversations like where you from ? Aww dammit i got killed .Or they dont even talk to you but their family member standing in the kitchen or something lol .GadgetGoblin on PS4 add me if you want to play on release day .

And they still think their customers wanna hear those scripted conversations?
They tried using real gamers but it did not turn out well. After they edited out all the racist, sexist and homophobic remarks, and a lot of complaining about the ghostbuster remake, they only had about 14 seconds of usable dialogue.
Can't wait for the actual experience of this game, with all of the helpful and decisive dialogue replaced by 12 year olds screaming N-words and F-words at everyone, hehe.

All I'm going to say is remember the original Division Trailer/Gameplay and the game turned out a complete 180. I'm going to wait till the game comes out first this time.
