Woah, I used to watch this cartoon as a kid, and apart from the main character, I remember NOTHING about it. But it's really cool to see it getting a good game adaption. I remember liking the show, and it's refreshing to see some love put into its comeback!
I'm surprised to hear how well this one came out. I think I'll definitely have to pick it up and give it a try sometime. I really those visuals and it seems like a slightly easier platformer, which is what we need sometimes I think. Thanks for the review.

I bought this physically for ten dollars cheaper. Worth it. Completely. It was the last copy GameStop had. Of course, that implies that the game didn't sell too great physically. The game's great, though, all things considered. Also, I bought it because I heard of the franchise and the character in association with the Disney Afternoon online. A game based on a 30-or-older year-old franchise seems to have a higher chance of being good, because the devs might have actually heard of said franchise. Also, it's a bit curious for anyone to make a game based on an obscure 30-or-older year-old franchise. Also, upon further study, Microids is a French licensee, giving people things from a remake of House of the Dead to a Smurfs game to Garfield Kart. The developers, who seem pretty much unknown and seem to only have footage of Marsupilami on their website, are Ocellus Studios. I hope they make more good stuff.
Well, the series was brought to America by Disney, back in the 90s, so I don't see Raw Toonage OR the standalone Marsupalami series coming to Disney+. Maybe I'll give it a shot. All of a sudden, I feel like watching the series.

At that price, I think you should really consider this if you like stuff like DK, Crash, or just nice platforming games in general. Sure, it's a bit on the short side length-wise. But imo it controls really well and level design is also good. Oh and it has a really chill vibe just all along 🙂
Never really cared about the cartoon too much. I saw a few episodes but thats it. But this game looks like a lot of fun. I will give it a try when my backlog gets a lil slimmer 😅. But i will defenitely play it sooner or later.

Yeah I'd say they lacked a bit of creativity as they are simply chase gauntlets. Though, people that normally don't like boss battles may be ok with that!

I use to watch the cartoon of Marsupilami on Disney's Raw Toonage. And great review, and I just ordered it from Microids.

There was three I think. The Disney one where he talks and one where he just makes sounds and was friends with a human family.
Even if ONE kid decides to Google the name and discovers Franquin, this game is a success in my book.
